Haha. This is a great thread. I really need to find a good place to practice...I really want to try doing the wallrun. That would be epic.
Parkour Park in Texas? I live in Texas :D
Lucky...lol
There's actually a Parkour park being built in Texas. [editline]10:16PM[/editline] Washington as in Washington DC? Where've you been living, under a rock? DC has the first Parkour gym, Primal Fitness. http://www.primal-fitness.com/
Washington state, not DC mate.
They should have Parkour parks.
That's not Parkour.
That dash vault picture is taken outside the pyramids in portsmouth. i have vaulted that same bench everytime i go there.
That's not Parkour.
What about a park that was 5km long? That would be sweet, but it would never happen though. The world is a parkour park anyways, so what am I talking about.
I fell on my hip doing parkour the other day. Fuck there's a giant lump on my hip and there's scabs and shit on my knees. My fucking foot got caught on the wall I was jumping over so I landed on my side as to not bash my face
I've got a parkour class on Tuesday. First time.
I used to parkour, but then I had gotten other fish to fry as I got older.
We used to practice our rolls (when landing) jumping off our friends roof. Scared the shit into you, so it worked. Also, frontflips are amazingly easy if you know what you're doing.
Greatest parkour legend ever...
lets not let this thread die
What about a park that was 5km long? That would be sweet, but it would never happen though. The world is a parkour park anyways, so what am I talking about.
Even 1KM would probably be enough.
Lets talk shoes What are Faiths shoes in Mirrors Edge? or, where can i find them? are they even good for PK? Also, what other shoes could i use?
Do you mean the Puma Xuvias? Also, shoes from Adidas and Nike are generally good for Parkour from what i've heard.
I hate to revive an old thread, but this thread need to live. Stil haven't had a chance to practice much, I still suck at rolls too :saddowns:

I wish I could climb ropes and stuff properly :(
I wish I weren't fat :(
I wish I had lots of muscles :(
Now I'm thinking wether or not to go and climb some trees in the forest I live near. You need good upper body strength, no?
so, whats all this parkour about then?
So, I'm a Junior in high school. Tall and skinny, but I do have some muscle on me, I think I'm pretty fit. I can jump hurdles at their highest setting when I tuck my legs in. Think I could do this? I will admit though, when it comes to things like this, I'm a pussy. I doubt my body way too much.
Playing "floor is now lava" will never be the same.
Why haven't some parkour pros robbed a bank? There's no way in hell the police could catch them.
Why haven't some parkour pros robbed a bank? There's no way in hell the police could catch them.
Did you really have to bump this?
Did you really have to bump this?
Sorry I thought this was on the front page D: I don't know how I got here then... EDIT: Looks like I ended up here from a link in this thread. Fuck.
Why haven't some parkour pros robbed a bank? There's no way in hell the police could catch them.
Did you just watch Takers? The problem is if the bank robbers did attempt to escape through parkour they'd have to have massive strength to keep up momentum for a long period of time with a bag of money weighing them down.
