That's their mobile Operating system iOS (IF I'm not mistaken).
Y'know, the OS on their iPhones and iPads.

To be fair, Adobe doesn't support Flash on any mobile device any more.

Well guess why.
Because mobile flash wasn't any good? :v:
HTML5 works better in my opinion
So...is this going to be released within the next week? Or are they going to delay it again?
How hard would it be to get a laptop casing, screw this into the base, and connect it to a laptop monitor, and keyboard, trackpad etc
How hard would it be to get a laptop casing, screw this into the base, and connect it to a laptop monitor, and keyboard, trackpad etc
probably pretty tough
It would easily fit in the casing, the issue is wiring up the connectors on the monitor/keyboard/trackpad to their respective ports on the Pi.
Please excuse my lazy arse for not reading through, but will it cost $25 to produce or will we be able to buy it at that price?

Very difficult, laptop screens can't just be plugged into an external source. Normally the motherboard/psu of the laptop house some of the electronics needed for the screen to function properly.
it's supposedly non profit so probably both
no that's not how non-profit works.
they still mark up prices and use that to pay any salaries as well as to pay for further R&D

generally salaries and R&D are figured into the cost of production. 99.999999% of the time it's not just cost of parts.
I've only skimmed through the first 5 pages or so of this thread but I've yet to see anyone mentioning the Allwinner A10.

This isn't a supercomputer. It's a microcomputer.
You dont say?
The XMBC vid shows 8 fps but the on-screen framerate seems to be higher? Or am I just seeing things wrong.

He says in the video that its obviously not right.
I'm assuming everything isn't working 100%, going by the fact that the processor is reported as 0 Mhz.
Having never watched the video, I'm going to make a wild claim that the software isn't currently capable of reading the decoding framerate of the hardware decoder, and is instead reporting the framerate that the UI is updating at (if any is visible)
