What Were We Wondering? - What We Wished Was Woefully Wasted With Wangs

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is 20 bucks. Wonder if it will be on sale.
I'm gonna cuntpunt my sisters. My XBOX is in the living/family room, because that's the biggest TV in the house, and the only one that's HD (not for long though :q:) and my sisters are on winter break, and I'm not. So basically I haven't been able to play my XBOX at all today because my damn sisters have been watching TV all day. I'm gonna have to tell them off soon though, because their TV is roughly 4 times larger than mine, and has everything they could possibly want.
They're also loud, obnoxious, they act retarded, and they complain a LOT. (Rich, coming from this post, I know)
Or Republic Commando. That was insanely fun.

Battlefront 2 is my favorite Star Wars game, but it gets stupidly funny when you are on the Jedi Temple level executing Order 66 and you fire your blaster rifle straight at a Jedi coming at you and he blocks 3 shots and gets gunned down. It's even better with the chaingun, where they can't block shots fast enough to even merit trying to block them in the first place.

And they run onto grenades, etc. Not the brightest AI.
It was fun because it wasnt focused on Jedis, and such. It was fun because the game is from the generic soldiers view.

This is the main reason why I bought Battlefront 2 to begin with. I hate playing war games where I end up being a squad leader or the only effective member of a platoon and have to go secure specific objectives. If I want to go AWOL and snipe down enemies with a rifle from the woods, let me do that. In Battlefront 2 if I want to fire rockets into crowds of people, it lets me do that. Not everybody focuses on me, and it's fun.
The bad parts though are that not all the armies are equal. My favorite army is the Republic army, because the chaingun rips through enemies like a lightsaber through durasteel. The Separatist army's Geonosians are useful only rarely, as their sonic blasters aren't much use. The Empire doesn't have many good soldiers, as I can never get the darktrooper's arc caster to work properly. The Republic's Bothan spies are extremely fun to tear through with a flamethrower and then disappear. They're all fun, but I wish there were more missions with the Republic army before Order 66.
Main thing that annoys me is how, once you get the award rifles and stuff, you are pretty much unstoppable. One man army games annoy the hell out of me.
Of course, its a huge requirement to get them, but still. Added SWBFII to my wish list :V

I rarely got the award weapons because I liked playing as a front line soldier and clearing off points with thermal detonators and a hail of blasterfire, which often got me killed. It was fun, but the longest I had ever kept an award weapon was the Award Rifle on the mission to assassinate the Queen of Naboo. My forces were pretty much dead and I had to go in alone, but I kept picking off stragglers until I got the rifle, then shut down the turret defenses and shot that bitch down. It was even more satisfying to murder the Jedi she used as bodyguards as they try to block my shots at her with their bodies. It was one of my favorite missions.

You got it. I never really was alive.

Awesome. The Republic did have the best missions, though.
Also, Gungans.
And did the thread title always have Wangs in it? I only just noticed.

TH89 being TH89.
I don't remember any Gungans in the campaigns. The Utapou mission was the worst one, simply because I could never attack the AATs effectively and my soldiers loved to be target practice for the countless droids scattered everywhere. When I had to fight General Grievous, I quickly lost Obi-Wan to him, then just shelled him with a captured AAT or a TX-130 that was airdropped to Utapou. I had to keep redoing it though, because it took so long.

Gungans are in the Hunt mode on Naboo. Surprisingly, they arent that bad, though they only have grenades.
And i rather enjoyed that mission but it took me a while aswell. So you arent alone on that.

Onyx has like 100 friends, more than double me.
I am crushed.

Dude I fucking love Battlefront 2
Playing QWOP for too long makes me dizzy.

That's cause I have a habit of friend requesting anyone I don't hate. I should actually go through and remove several of them but I'm too lazy.
I'm your guide

It makes me murderous.
Im looking for an RTS on Steam. Are there any good ones which will let me use battleships and such? And it must run on an extremely shitty computer.
At the moment, im playing Empire Earth II, which is pretty good, but im wondering if there is a better one.
Lady GaGa is adorable.

Fuck battleships
Get Downs of War 2
That was a pretty intense game of Halo. We had bottomless clips on, random/random weapons, and we were in a small cube level we made named "Hell From Hell".
God my sisters are seriously pissing me off. THEY WON'T STOP SINGING AND THEY WON'T STOP TALKING IN LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS FUCKING VOICES. I'm about ready to punch them in the fucking face.
