i'm getting sick of watching animes with shit endings.
does steins;gate have a good ending?
is it better than future diary's ending?
and what i consider a good ending is an ending that brings either resolution or stirs something inside of the viewer and all around feels well thought out and well done artistically and for the series arc itself. and people don't start flying around throwing chi balls at each other

I thought it was good. Nothing convoluted.

God dammit anime you crazy
Well it certainly won't evoke the same feelings that the Mirai Nikki ending did
Ano Natsu de Matteru was a pretty average show, but the ending did enough to hype me up waiting for the next episode.

Nothing over the top, very easy to listen to.
You thought the ending of Mirai Nikki was that bad?
I thought the whole thing was ~above-average, the ending didnt stick out that much to me, although I do agree that the flying magical ranged attack battle was off putting when compared to the rest of the show.
IMO, Yunos character made the show. The rest of the story, including the ending, was almost formulaic.
Steins;Gate had a terrible ending. Though just stop watching after the second to last episode and you're good.

I hope Okarin comes back in time to make sure you never happened.

it would be worst if it didn't have a ending at all

Is it just me or do episodes of Gargantia feel much shorter than they really are?
Speaking of S;G, who's ready to wait six months to see Fuka Ryouiki no Deja vu now that it's been shown in Japan
Me! Yay! ;~;
Although the way they do the episode preview is very original, I like it.

dem time travelling merge breakers
You know, up until I knew more about it, whenever I heard about or at least the name Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, I always expected it to be a crazy wacky comedy rather than what it is.
finished watching evangelion rebuild 2.0
Pretty amazing how i don't remember ANYTHING. it's like i never watched it in the first place.

Psycho Pass had an amazing ending.
Psycho Pass had an amazing ending.
I think the part that made it amazing was that [sp]life kinda returned to normal. I expected them to overthrow Sibyl or something but it actually turned out unexpectedly in a pleasant way.[/sp]
My friend got me into Fullmetal Alchemist, but I was told there's two versions of the anime. Which one is generally seen as the "best" one?
Brotherhood

I believe it's Brotherhood.

Only thing I remember is the ending when the new character pops in.
Because it was dreadful.
Also 2.0? Don't you mean 2.22? Feggit.

That's exactly why I didn't like it
Go into a massively hyped up restaurant and wait 40 minutes for a steak that's bland and slightly overcooked
Then you read the reviews and they're all "OH WOW SO AMAZING IT'S GOOD BECAUSE YOU NEVER EXPECTED IT TO BE MEDIOCRE"

Don't call it mediocre when it doesn't appeal to your inner shounen loving 12-year-old .
On the flipside, the ending allows for a second season. With it's popularity, there isn't a doubt in my mind that it's gonna happen.

Don't be dense
There's a difference between things that are different AND good and things that are good BECAUSE they are different (namely that the latter is just self-denial)

Though I suppose arguing against what's perceived to be the accepted opinion would draw out such stupid ad hominem comments anyway

What are you talking about? Psycho-pass' ending is about [sp]the cycle of life, that things are wrong and people think they can change it, but nobody has the balls to do it there and then and leaves it to the future generation, creating an endless circle of people that feel the system needs to change, but never does anything about it. The Sibyl system is shown and felt like a terrible system, something so inhumane and heartless, judging people with a collective hivemand based on opinions, not facts. Even so, the system is right, it doesn't have any weaknesses, it gets discovered when it wants to and always gets it's will, there isn't any superheroes that can change it, because people are people, and the system is too sophisticated.
Justice won't be served because the people that want to serve it don't have the balls to, nor are they capable of it.[/sp]
It's the perfect ending because it's so real, there's no bullshit magical fiction shit, it's just humanity itself on display.
So I watched Toradora and rewatched Dragonball Z
Toradora was beautiful, likeable characters, well written and the soundtrack was great. Dragonball Z was terrible and a mistake to ever rewatch, the sense of nostalgia actually made it more painful to watch. I mean, some parts were still pretty hype, but they were so few and far between that they didn't really improve the show.
