I know exactly how you feel OP. My family used to have a dog that I was very attached to. In fact, you could say he was my best friend. I knew him since I was very young, and he died some six years ago. Yet, when I recall the memory of the day that I put him down, I still feel the pain that I felt that many years ago. I really hope that this doesn't happen to you, just remember that those veterinarians can work miracles sometimes.
Goddamn i have boxers so this makes me just wanna torture this asshole... [editline]10th June 2011[/editline] fff ninja
I have 4 dogs, so I felt sad, but I'm glad that she is making a speedy recovery.
my neighbors had a small yorkie it was really cute. I was washing my moms car one day and a van comes by and runs the dog over, I hoped on my bike and waved the car down. turns out it was a pothead that couldn't give a fuck about the 2 little girls that saw their little friend get splattered and that was shocking to me, I know how it can be losing a dog suddenly mine drowned when she jumped on a pool cover and got trapped under it, I know how it is and I don't wish that on anybody, but I do wish you and your dog the best
That is one badass motherfucker.
No, correction: That's one mean pussy...
"Fuckin' hit my dog, ese. You fucked up now, pinche... You fucked him up for life, eh! He's scarred! "
fucking horrible time to post this did you think about the subject of the thread before posting?
My mom has a problem with letting our Yorkie run out into our front yard to use the restroom. Once, he was gone for 4 hours and came back covered in some kind of feces. She stopped letting him out in our front yard for a month before continuing again. I fear that eventually he's going to get himself hit because we have some terrible drivers in our neighborhood. I'm so sorry man, and I hope your dog gets better.
It's a funny video, get over it geesh.
Facepunch is too soft on stories like this, if the dog would have never been let outside the house without a leash or a fenced yard it wouldn't have been put in a situation with a idiot cab driver running it over. The driver is also at fault but any responsible pet owner should know there's idiots on the road all the time who would love to run down small objects in the way.

While I feel really bad for the poor pooch. I have to agree with that guy ^
I read the title as "How some idiot hit on my dog..." I was like "Bestiality?" Anyways, hope your dog turns out OK. I would probably be traumatized if that happened to me.
oh look ops dog is in critical condition and hes on the verge of tears while writing about the tragic incident that has put his dogs life in danger HUHUHUH LOOK GUYS ITS A VIDEO OF A DOG GETTING KICKED XDDD LMAO think of context before you post something fucking stupid like that
I hope this would cheer you up, OP. Please don't see this as me being cruel, I'm just trying to make light of a dark situation.
Tomorrow the Vet will be opening at 8AM, so I'll go see her right when it opens :unsmith: ..
Hope she's okay. I'm not much of a dog guy, but it'd hurt to see a good dog go before her time. :saddowns:
:h:
I had a dog get hit once. She ended up losing a leg. She looked kind of cool though, anyway, good luck with your dog.
Dude, that really sucks. I hope your dog makes it out okay. I couldn't imagine if a pet I was close to got hit.
Make a blog. Like that guy who got brain surgery did.
I hope your dog comes out okay tomarrow
As corny and stupid as this may sound, they're like brothers/sisters to me.
It ain't. I've had a dog (jack russell breed) for eight years, and she's like a 'sister' to me, in a way. I do feel for you though, OP. :frown:
Always sucks to lose a pet, big or small. But it IS a dick-move (and as said, often illegal) to hit a dog and run off. We had a dog get hit (the 3rd one that year, god dammit dad build a proper fucking fence for fuck's sake) and the driver didn't stop, no idea who it was until I started selling knives that summer, ended up getting referred to him. Turns out it was some guy down the street who "was late for work".
Reminds me of when my cousin's cat was shot (yes, shot) by some assholes. He survived though. Hope everything turns out ok!
My cat was shot too--he lived.
I get rated dumb for telling the truth. Derp derp. Sure his brother put the dog out but he told the brother to put the dog out. The point is it's your own damn fault for having the dog out front off leash
Created tears.
