Life after death Is whatever you believe it to be :monocle:
I used to think that one would just be reincarnated as a new person, without any prior knowledge of the lives had before him.
when we die we will reborn as a naavi and live in pandora
when we die we will reborn as a naavi and live in pandora
ommggg i wiiiiisshhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Title makes me cringe.
Scientific as I am, I'd say that nothing happens. However, I hope something happens, like reincarnation. The thought of eternal emptyness disturbes me. :ohdear: (Which is rather ironic, as I've always interested in astronomy and Eternal emptyness is a part of may theories which I just find amazing)
In Death Is Life [editline]11:05PM[/editline]
Scientific as I am, I'd say that nothing happens. However, I hope something happens, like reincarnation. You have failed outright at understanding what a scientific theory is, it's the highest form any idea can be at in science, backed up by evidence and studies. Yours is not.
Why? Because you don't exist after dying, it won't disturb you.( You can't think/worry etc )
That's the point. I want to be able to think, learn things, discover things, and that ability ends if you die.
OP doesn't cover life after death, only the evolution of a species.
Everyone has the wrong idea, when you die you become one with the Force, George Lucas is a saint. :Dawkins102:
You have failed outright at understanding what a scientific theory is, it's the highest form any idea can be at in science, backed up by evidence and studies. Yours is not.
He could be meaning Pataphysic theories (theories that can't be proven), and then it would fall more under Philosophy.
FUCK i read OP wrong SOWWY :suicide:
The universe isn't even close to a trillion years old, how could evolution of a single species last that long?
I think that the idea on the logical side of the spectrum would be that when we die, we cease to exist and decompose in the ground.
I think that the idea on the logical side of the spectrum would be that we just decompose in the ground, and from there on, we cease to exist.
Nu uh its impossible to stop existing.
Scientific as I am
bla bla bla metaphysics metaphysics
Life is mind boggling. How do single cells know what to do? WHO THE FUCK IS CONTROLLING THEM? And why do we have to dream every night? Because we will die if we don't dream, and when we die the same chemical that makes us dream is pumped into our brain.
Life is a fractal :o
I believe in reincarnation Through atomic reformation The universe is infinite, and so is time. So because of this, there are infinite possible combination's that my atoms will go with with all the other atoms in this universe. Therefore, eventually, one of those atomic combination's will reform me. I may not remember anything, but I still get to live again. Also, because of the infinite number of ways our atoms can join up with each other, I will also be a tiger, a penguin, and IRL Soap Mctavish some day. SOME DAY
OP does make some sense. After all.... they say all species have a weak point that could make them dissapear. For dinosaurs it was the size of them. Maybe for humans it's their technology or how they tend to believe in religions that can sometimes even kill them. Eg: Mass suicides. But that isin't a theory of "life after death". That's a theory of evolution. Therefore OP is Dumb.
ITT thread got ruined instantly by the spelling error.
trillion is impossible numbnuts, the big bang occurred 12,7 billion years ago. [editline]02:05PM[/editline]
For dinosaurs it was the size of them.
Not it wasn't, it was the food they lived on. We now eat plants and animals, they only ate animals. So if the animals start to die so will the dinosaurs.
Not it wasn't, it was the food they lived on. We now eat plants and animals, they only ate animals. So if the animals start to die so will the dinosaurs.
Meteor crash->winter caused by ammount of ash in the atmosphere-> trees grow smaller->Big herbivorous dinosaurs die because there is not enough food because they are huge monsters->carnivorous dinosaurs die after eating all the herbivorous->small mamals survive because they are small. Thus dinosaurs died because, like Gabe Newell, they needed a lot of food because they where huge fucking monsters.
I have a better theory. If the big crunch theory is true, and the universe constantly restarts then wouldn't you have a 100 % chance to reform a few dozen universe down the line by some random happening?
Big Crunch was disproved aaaaaages ago man! Even if it were true, or the universe managed to destroy itself otherwise, and that a complete replica of you was formed afterwards, it would still only be a replica. You wouldn't have any connection with it.
