• Washing hair every day, cons?

I hate when my hair is too greasy and I hate when it's too dry
I wash my hair everyday, sometimes twice because when getting a shower = head and shoulders for men on the hair makes it uber soft. The amount of people I get touching it and saying "so soft, like a cat" is crazy.
I shower every day, you should too, you dirty pig
Forget shampoo and conditioner, just use soap. After about a month you will have very few problems with your hair, and then you can wash it less frequently if you so desire. Or you could revert to the "no poo" formula if you wanted to abandon such actions all together eventually. Shampoo is little more than detergent, and prolonged exposure will damage your hair, and for one such as I with a history of baldness in the family, I have abandoned it all together.
I usually wash mine with shampoo every other day and then just water on the other days. For me it's mainly because when I wake up it looks awful so washing it is like a reboot or something then I can do something with it if needed.
Pretty much this.
Once a day isn't bad if it actually is getting dirty. But be careful because washing it too much attracts bugs, like lice.
Opposite.
if you wash it every day, just shower on every other and shampoo and condition on the others
It will wash out too much minerals and your hair will look greasy.
Don't wash your hair, it gets wet and soaky.
Mind if I hijack the thread for a moment? I have a dry patch on the back-right, underneath the top layer of hair. It's not noticeable, but still annoying. I've tried everything from regular conditioners to those pro-quality leave-in oils but nothing seems to moisten it. What's going on? Do I just need to wait for new hair to grow out and then cut it off?
trase shut up you ugly narcissistic homo
