If someone has your phone number, they can get your name and address. Unless that was a cell phone number or an unlisted number, that could've easily been just a random call trying to steal your identity. And ID spoofing is a very real thing, and can easily be accomplished if one knows what they're doing.

But if you give your Number to a recruiter and hint that you're interested, prepare for that bitch to ring off it's hook, and that is speaking from personal experience
