I wonder how many people are gonna see it just for the extended 'sex' scene
I wonder how many people are gonna see it just for the extended 'sex' scene
oh, that's what is included?
It won't be graphic. Why bother?

If that's all it is then lol.
I watched it, it was cool, but not completely amazing like most people around me make it out to be. I don't complain about it though, but re-releasing it in theaters just seems kinda eh. I doubt he'll make too much more money.
Someone will record the 8 minutes in theaters and that'll be it.
If that's all it is then lol.
that'd be hilarious if the entire 8 minutes was just for the sex scene. but no it's just like an extra 30 seconds or something on that bit apparently.
Yea, I think they're adding more stuff in it. I'm not sure what though.
If its only in 3D then its fine. There arnt that many 3D movies anyways out right now.
Where have you been? Like, ALMOST, not all but almost, every movie comming out, is comming out in 3D, along with a non-3D. Both in theaters.

This year I mean

It's called sarcasm, you should look into it sometime, but I guess it isn't really needed because nobody ever uses it anymore, like at all.
I hate the fact that it only has 8 minutes or so new footage, they should have just slammed a new blu-ray out.
Maybe the new sales will go into the budget for the new Alien movie.
[editline]01:55AM[/editline]
Oh dayum page snipe. :q:
I couldn't even see the 3D during the movie. Fucked up vision perhaps?
What makes me sad is all the "at human base" scenes they shot, but which will not make it into this version, because they wanted to focus on the Na'vi. Bollocks I say!
I regret seeing this movie a second time.
mr. cameron cant give up the cash cow just yet!!!
Who gives a fuck if another person made money of something he made. Too many people on facepunch are jealous of more successful people.
No, It's shitty movies like avatar that make other movies that are way more deserving of success get thrown away like a ragdoll.
It pisses me off to no end.
I can't see why they should do that. There exists way better movies out there, so why would you waste your time with this?
cameron ended the movie too soon.
when in the history of humanity has mankind just given up on a resource when met with hostile resistance!
did the American settlers give up on all that gold when met with a tomahawk to the face?
nope: the nearly wiped the native Americans out!
im sure the mining company CEOs would have just said: "fuck it bomb them from orbit and take that shit!"

Every boy from the college I go to including myself :munch:
there is a tradition in Houston at the river oaks theater where they show the rocky horror picture show every thursday. but it isn't that fun to watch because you got those people that come in and dress up and start singing and dancing to the songs... anyway i saw this movie 3 times. im not going to see it again with 8 more minutes of footage
Cameron's tryin to break a record that nobody will ever break.
[editline]10:48PM[/editline]
Dick move.
Avatar is retarded, and most theaters will probably bump off good movies like Scott Pilgrim to make room for it.
Does this mean there'll be another blu-ray release with the extra footage?
why are they doing this
the movie just had a one time appeal
I already mentioned how the movie clearly hasn't made as much of a lasting impact as one might expect aside from the collossal amount of money it's made. It really hasn't expanded into any sort of franchise and 3D isn't being treated any differently by most filmmakers than it was in its past lives. James Cameron's probably trying to extend the movies time in the spotlight as much as possible so that he has more chances to have his movie grow into something much bigger.
The first time i saw it i accidentally double dosed some medicine with dxm, and was like 'woah a movie has never made me feel this good' then i realized what i had done. It's still a cool movie though.

I don't see how this relates to my post at all.
Sean Connery in "The League of Eckshtrodinerry Gerntle where are my derntures!?
You see, the difference is, The Fifth Element was actually a good movie, this is just "Dances with Wolves 2: Sci-Fi Edition"
This is true.
I hyped it up for over a year, saw it day before it came out in cinema, left with a smile, never wanted to talk about it again.
Any imbecile that is getting excited at the prospect of an additional couple of minutes in a film which is commended only for its visuals, should forever be made to watch the entire film with dynamite up their rectal tube.
I feel like Cameron is in my wallet trying to steal my cash...
