I don't understand why everyone always goes "OMG what a bitch friendzoning him"or "Poor guy". Girls don't have to want to fuck you just because you hung around them for some time (same way you don't have to sleep with every girl that wants to sleep with you).

It's usually the guy is doing an assload more for the girl in a beneficial way than her boyfriend ever came close to. And then she'll break up with her current boyfriend, bitch that there are no nice men, and continue to treat that previous guy friend like a tool.
Very rare is it the opposite, a girl who helps out a guy with all of his problems, that gets shut down entirely.

Point well made. If a guy wants to date a girl he better tell her that instead of wishing she will do it first after 94 years of hanging out. If she says yes - it's okay. If she says no - it's sad, but get over it and go do something else/continue to be friends.
You like a girl, you ask her out, simple.
Don't make out the guy to be the victim when he's the one who gave her the wrong message.

"friendzoning" is something guys make up as a reason why a girl wouldn't want to fuck him. I mean, that's totally the only reason, right?
"friendzoning" is also always the guys fucking fault. Ask her out, don't beat around the bush.

I ask before the first 94 years of hanging out, I get "I don't really know you"
I ask after 94 years of hanging out, I get "You're just a friend/brother to me"

The guy isn't forced to help her or do anything at all. Girls actually acknowledge that behavior. They do want someone fun and nice but they don't see a "boyfriend" in that person. It happens to guys as much to girls. If you are friends with some girls even over the internet you have surely noticed how the more you know that person the less you want to date her. She's a friend in your eyes now. Forever.
When the game suddenly freezes while me and my friends are playing it when we were young, it would always go something like this

Don't know if it's just me but a friendshiep is no obstacle in starting a relationship or dating.
I'd rather start to date my best female friend than a person I just got to know. (maybe I'm just lucky that my bf is just my type)

Again, girls are exactly like guys. The illusion is that society made us in the way that almost all boys are socially desparate and would like to date any nice/pretty girl they meet. Let's face it. But when you grow older out of your teen-age years (considering you grew into average or even awesome social person) you hang out with a great girl for one fun afternoon and you know right away if you want to date her or just be awesome friends. Girls think like that even in the child years. And while boys want to date every single girl, a girl thinks rationally and want to date only a boy she likes as a boy (not only as a friend). Hence "Girls always friendzone guys". I've made many successful and more unsuccessful attempts at dating and I can tell this for sure: in most cases (not all) girl would ask/accept to date you on day one or in a week OR will never ask or accept at all. Just like grown up men. I stated my points, thus ending my part in offtop.

In what world is Huffington Post not mainstream media? It's an extremely popular (and progressively biased) source, definitely tier 2 if tier 1 is NYT, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
