The best defence against seeing gore pictures is not to be present in the thread when they are posted.

thanks to the internet, i've become desensitized to seeing this shit however, i've noticed that i actually react if other people are around i.e. viewing something with friends i can also handle seeing pictures and videos on the internet, yet i have a terrible gag reflex in reality and would probably blow chunks in real life what has the internet done

Same with me. I no longer go "EW GROSS!" when I see a decapitated human (for example) :/

I'd imagine to someone who's more sensitive it would've been an 8-10. Some of the pictures were just prolapses which are meh but there were carved up bodies from mexican gangs and shit.
