Beginning a few weeks ago, I introduced LMAO pics to a few people I know from my programming class. Scrolling through in my free time, I showed them a series of pictures. The most interesting part in the study was that, regardless of whatever I fucking showed, as long as I said it was a funny picture, they laughed. And every single fucking time they always followed up with saying, "so random!" and giggling idiotically. They laughed at the fucking awful rage comics. Yeah, they even laughed at FP inside jokes.
And while I'm at it, I feel the need to explain the same logic regarding rage faces. Yes, you heard me correctly, fucking rage faces. I began showing a mix of original and edited content from various threads, and examining their reaction. For all the original content(unedited, I should say) they didn't know how to react. I threw in actual funny content from LMAO pics in and they still didn't know how to react.
But get this shit, lmao. Whenever I threw in some fucking rage face into the picture, they instantly began to mimic the reaction of the face. People are using fucking rage faces to let their viewers know how to react to the picture.

Same thing with FP ratings.
Think for a minute how many times you rated a picture funny just because it had a lot of funny ratings, even though it was kind of mediocre.
