Hey guys, I have a new instrumental (that surprisingly enough someone is already *likely* going to get on)
I have some minor adjustments to make here and there, but I just wanted to show some people.
Surprisingly enough I didn't even touch my MPC to make this one, it was all done on the computer.
Also, sorry for the excessive tagging, I didn't want people stealing it. So, without further adieu, here it is!

Give it a listen and tell me what you think. Thanks!
I enjoyed it a lot! Has a old school feel to it :)
Awesome, needs more cowbell though. I'm serious.
Great instrumental dude
This is fantastic. You were right to tag all of this.
Thats great!
this is actually pretty nice...
domo genesis used the same sample in shine
Dope i like it, what programs do you use - reason?
Thanks guys. I usually use either FL Studio, my MPC (hardware workstation), or a combination of the two.
this is really good dude, make more and you might become the next Ski Beatz
what is with facepunch and all these instrumental producers showing me up lately
making me feel like shit about my work :(

Hey man, don't feel bad! Learn new things, and use them to make your work better. That's how I got to where I'm at.
I have two questions though. How do you do that wah-wah voice type thing? Also, how are you sampling it so perfectly at 1:00? It sounds so fluid in your beat. I recently came up to love beat-making but I don't get sampling. :(
Sampling is such a great thing to take part in. You find a small chunk of music / a loop you like -- I personally look for rarer songs and unheard of songs to shed light on that particular song. Then you make it unique to how you would flip it [remix it].
9th wonder is a master producer and there are many more legends that talk about sampling, so search them out but here is 9th wonder about sampling.

if you mean the guitar, that's actually a sample. The sampling at 1:00 I simply cut off the beat then put a cutoff filter on the chorus.
Thanks a bunch Odi and Lemonlime!
One last question, I promise. Sorry this sounds like an interrogation.
How is he putting the "Bang Bang" song in his own beat? Is he using the instruments from the original? (At 0:24)

I mean there is tons of different versions of songs, & covers what have you. Then they just cut it a certain way unique to how the producer flips it. Layers have a lot to do with hiding other things you don't want - and knocky drums in that song you linked is key for hiphop instrumentals. Keep being creative and experiment cutting a loop and set it to drums. Gave me a good idea for sample based collective on the forums.
your question: Maybe he has the Accapella version of the song, or maybe there is a version where the singers voice is louder then the instruments and he can easily filter/cut the highs/mids/lows accordingly to her voice. There are some songs where the voice is the only thing completely, and then they use it for the rest of the song. Layers and blending are keys to success.

Sometimes producers get their hands on instrumentals without a drum track or acapellas, but if not, they have to use filtering and EQing to get the sound they want.

Quite nice. A little messy with the reverb and stuff.
Pretty just blaze styled indeed
