God damnit, now I feel jealous about you.
Takes me a while to nod off much like everyone else.
valerian tea can help you go to sleep if you have insomnia.
I've had insomnia off-and-on for the past couple of years. I agree about the "feeling like shit" thing, and the "feel amazing after sleeping" part, but the whole thing about it being like a dream never once happened to me.
Do you do well in school with insomnia? I imagine you'd have a hard time focusing.
Am I the only one who saw something flash after he said "copy" in that video?
I don't know why anyone would want insomnia, it seems like it would suck major cock.
Who the fuck would want insomnia? That's like me saying I want Gonorrhea.
I've got this. Most I've been awake is around 90 hours. That was last year. Fucking sucks shit. I'm getting better though. I take diphenhydramine(Benadryl) to help me sleep some times.
I have had no problems with this since I started to do some sports.
This, do some sit ups before bed and you'll sleep like a babby.
I love the feeling of being in a dream, I usually get it after I stay up all night, pretty awesome. Never had insomnia before though.
Everytime I do adderall for a high I get insomnia, try 60 MG and you too can experience the shitty effects.
Take a lot of ambien and force yourself to stay awake
It's easy to stay awake on high doses of ambien. In fact it's about the funnest thing imaginable.
You don't seem to sound like you've had bad insomnia.
I thought of this.
It's a medical marvel that I'm even alive with the amount of sleep I get. I can't even take sleeping pills because mixing them with my anti-anxiety meds makes me throw up. Luckily my good pal caffeine is there with the assist. MONSTER FUCK YEAH :byodood:
What's that movie called that's about a kid with insomnia who takes a night job at a grocery store, has the time of his life, then eventually loses his insomnia? found it, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460740/ good movie
I used to have horrible insomnia where I would only be able to sleep every second night, I got sick all the time because of it. It's gotten more managable now, but I still only sleep about 4 hours a night.
Who the fuck would want insomnia? That's like me saying I want Gonorrhea.
Maybe if the protagonist in Fight Club had been suffering from Gonorrhea people would want it.
God I know the feeling, I've had insomnia for a while now.
God I know the feeling, I've had insomnia for a while now.
Goes well with your avatar.
Goes well with your avatar.
lol
I got no sleep after a busy and tiring day once, it was like being really drunk just not funny. Couldn't walk properly in morning, I knew what to do e.g. to shower, but didn't know why I should do it. Just worked like a robot until I met my friend to walk to school, that's when I started to be a little more human... At school I didn't make sense when answering in class, put random words in sentences, paranoid a little, was not good although the day seemed to pass really quickly.
Actually most Insomnia cases are caused by lack of exercise. If an insomniac were to bike ride 20+ miles everyday, he would have an easy time falling asleep. Exercise also calms you down. [editline]08:43PM[/editline] You may feel like shit while you are exercising if you are in insomniac, but when you are done you feel soooo good.

[editline]08:43PM[/editline] You may feel like shit while you are exercising if you are in insomniac, but when you are done you feel soooo good.
HUh thats how I feel. But I inhered insomnia, to a degree, but I do believe exercise helps. Yeah I can't run more then 150m, with out starting to fall over. I eat healthy, and get this, im not fat, I need to gain weight at most still. but, I have had insomnia for along time, sense I was 10, im 15, so uh god it fucking sucks. But its also great at times, on the weekends, when I sleep a nice 10-12 hours, sometimes 13-14. The problem is, falling asleep and getting up, you constantly want sleep, and the only time when you get it is at inconvenient times. but when you get up after a LONG Sleep, every single sentation feels almost, orgmastic in away, indescribable like the OP stated. Also sometimes I see things in the corner of my eye, a barrel becomes a man, a clump of trash in a corner becomes a bodie, you lose alot of controle on reality if you have intense insomnia like me. Get in bed at 12, sometimes I won't fall a sleep at ALL, AHHHHHHHH!!! but heres the good thing, if you somehow, don't get any sleep, the next day, your literally high on life, for about eh 5 hours after the time you would normally get up, then BAM hang over, you can get really sick, ive thrown up before. So yeah, some people think its cool, some dont, some adapt, but either way, it will eventually be the end of you if you can't over come it. how can you overcome something that is almost genetic, my mom has it, her dad, and his dad.
Lawl my sleeps fucked up too. Last night I only managed 2hrs max sleep, haven't got insomnia - just I can stay up for really long periods of time without sleep and find it hard to sleep in the first place. However during the week at some points, I find it really really hard to stay awake and I will come home from college and not remember the day rofl :3 Its nice to know we all have fucked-up sleep :3
You should go to support groups.
