Walmart. Not sure if they hire 14 year olds though. They will hire just about anyone though.
I don't think Walmart can hire anyone under 18, i think it because they sell alcohol.
Good luck. It took me two years to find a job at 17-18.
Facepunch is not your local employment information office *cough*
Paperboy/girl.
I don't think Walmart can hire anyone under 18, i think it because they sell alcohol.
Grocery stores can hire under 18. I have a few cashiers at my Kroger that are under 16-17. They just can't handle/scan out alcohol so they have to call someone over that's an adult to do it.
Do a paper-round. I get £20/week for doing 20mins of cycling each morning which I often enjoy anyway.
life-guard
Urmmmm Paper round thats the only job you can get at that age
Paper route has been taken over by an obese guy in a truck
If you have any family who own a business they will usually let you help out for around minimum wage.

Mow lawns and rake leaves, manual labor. That's all you'll really be able to get, and it won't be an offical job. The earliest you could even possibly get a job will be when you're 15, and the best you could get is working at a mcdonalds.
More mature? Then stop looking. You're not more mature.
I can be mature if I need to be. But this is the Internet. Truthfully I don't give a flying fuck what you think about me.
I'm sixteen with GCSE qualifications and am currently studying in college, and I can't even find a part-time job. :ohdear:
Do paper rounds like me and earn £15 a week for a 2 hours of work and im 13.
Even if you could get a job (you can't) you're to socially awkward you would never get past the job interview . Nobody wants you , and you reek of the smell of failure .
Suck old men's dicks. [editline]12th February 2011[/editline] If you manage to get them hard, they pay double
14? Good luck. I could barely find a job at 16.
I started working as a machinist in a CNC shop at 16.
I'm looking for most likely a minimum wage job, that's from a company that is willing to hire younger, more mature people. A hard job is fine, but nothing dangerous.
Pretty sure the legal limit is 15. Where I live, at least.
-snip- ninjas [editline]12th February 2011[/editline] And the legal age here is 14
Child hooker
I don't think Walmart can hire anyone under 18, i think it because they sell alcohol.
Where the fuck do you live that has alcohol selling walmarts? On a more related note, i got a job as a swim teacher instructor's aide when i was 14, then when i was 15 i became a lifeguard. You need to be able to swim decently to be a lifeguard, and to be a teacher (even an aide) you should've been swimming for a very long time like i have, no one wants a teacher that doesn't know their shit.
Software Engineer
Sell methamphetamine to young children.
I can be mature if I need to be. But this is the Internet. Truthfully I don't give a flying fuck what you think about me.
Well with that attitude you're hired!
The only 14 year old I ever knew who worked officially on the books was at mcdonalds with me back when I worked there at 16 (I quit after like 3 weeks). Child labor laws are pretty strict in the US (to the point where I got in trouble for trying to use a boxcutter at work when I was 16 because minors aren't allowed to)
Publix is the only place that will hire at 14, but due to the economy, someone who is older these days will more likely get the job.
Why would you want to get a job when your only 14? I'm 14 too, and I do not want to get a job until I'm 16.
No one is going to give a job to a 14 year old.
You don't need a job. Spend your time having fun with friends. Believe it or not, these are the best times of your life before you actually do need to get a job; then it's not as fun. Don't act like you're some mature serious "adult". Be a kid, you tart.
You have bigger things to worry about, jobs are hard to come by and you should be thinking about your upcoming exams :) plus most people wont hire a 14 year old.
