How can you say that looks better? That looks like shit.
Nice reading bro, I didn't say looks. And if you think the iPhone/iTouch's processor can handle that you're fucking crazy. Not to mention I drew that in 2 seconds. It's portable Turning is so much easier with your fingers colors instanst screenshots and you forget most of you are on gaming pc's. My brand new laptop couldn't even change materials.

This is the best 2 MB download ever in the history of forever.
Don't expect to get stuff straight from this into source. It's tons of polygons, source won't handle that.

You're right. This thing already has 20256 faces: [img_thumb]http://mayco.mr-green.nl/modeling/faces.jpg[/img_thumb]
True enough. Sculpting apps do play a role in modern game development though, as high-poly sculpts are used to generate normal maps for the ingame models.

Would it be possible to use this program to make a landscape, export it into a grayscale 2D map, and then import it into a game that uses height maps (ie. OpenTTD)? [editline]07:19PM[/editline]
:stat:
Stotlor?
Would it be possible to use this program to make a landscape, export it into a grayscale 2D map, and then import it into a game that uses height maps (ie. You should try 3d Coat. Here there are still topology restrictions, for example not being able to poke a hole in your mesh or join two parts together. In 3D Coat that is possible. Voxels are better in that way, but they have a uniform resolution, and this is adaptive resolution, allowing for infinite detail (and also lots of lag). [editline]12:32AM[/editline] Oh, try using the flatten brush while holding shift. It is awesomeness.

FFFFUUUUUUCKKK I just sculpted a really detailed face with crusty warts and spent a lot of time using the pinch tool to define edges (man the interface is slow with a tablet), and then it crashed.

I make sure to save like every 5 minutes... not that it's crashed on me yet... well, it has, but that's 'cos I tried exporting a nearly 300K triangle model as an object. But obviously I had saved right before exporting anyway (or ATTEMPTING to export). On the upside, sometimes when you lose work it's for the better. Sometimes you go back, try to recreate it, and end up with something 10 times more awesome.
Save early, save often.

Sort of like with Musagi, another program by the same creator for music creation and just as crashy.
