Fucking shit hot weather that is unbearable without a fan or air conditioner, with no rain and a fucked up government. We are usually far behind in technology compared to other first world countries and our internet speeds are one of the shittiest. Of course it sucks here.
I live in Sydney, the biggest city in Australia, and it's great country. Good weather, and the people here are less relaxed than other countries. The only places we suck in is technology (computer parts are generally 3-5 times more expensive than in America, and internet is ABYSMAL) and the Labor government (the current party in power) is a horrible excuse for a party and does not reflect the general consensus of Australians. Kevin Rudd was only elected by promising "change" in which he did not deliver. If you can get around those two things Australia is awesome.
The Liberal Party is full of more christian conservative types.

If you even think that the Liberals are better i will shoot you.
The laws in Australia are getting ridiculously stupid now.
I think it is a HORRIBLE place to live if these conditions keeps up
as if, I live in the inner city and i got drenched. Malvern station needs better covers.
on another note, i refuse to vote for both Abbott or Rudd, they're both as pathetic as each other and neither can explain the ETS scheme without stuttering like a child on Ritalin. Fuck it, im voting for the greens.
I was in Moonee Ponds when it started raining. Was fucking terrible.

This is true, but Labor is so abysmally bad at accomplishing anything without horribly screwing it up that I would rather take the Liberal party over them.
If it was up to me One Nation would be in power, but they don't exist anymore.

Kevin Rudd was elected because he went on Rove.
Basically yeah it's great except for the fact that we have conservative idiots in power.
Also Kevin Rudd's "number one priority" - this, that, this, that, this, that. This was made fun of in Hungry Beast but I can't be bothered seeing if they have a clip, or if someone uploaded that segment to YouTube
I've lived in Austrailla with my grandfather for 2 years and I gotta tell you that besides living in the city it is a bullshit country. No really, I hated living outside the city.
Looks like everyone hates Australia.. interesting. Glad I'm not there.

You do bring up a good point about the Labour Government and I do prefer to a Liberal government in theory, it seems that lately both sides are showing pretty poor form for running the nation correctly. If i had my way, I would have Howard back or elect the greens
Also, i'm an australian and it's very rare to see deadly animals, i havent seen a snake in the wild, ever here, and i also very rarely see deadly spiders.
I had a tiger snake sneak up on me when I was a little kid. Scared the shit out of me.
Also where I went to school there were a lot of dugites around. End of last year I was out in the bush doing some 4WDing with a mate and we found a roll of really nice carpet that he wanted to use in the back of his ute, so we unrolled it and found a dugite. Long story short, we knocked it out thinking it was actually dead, chucked it in the back of the ute and when we got back to his house it was conscious again.
