• How would you gain weight with a fast metabolism?

I have the same problem. I'm 197cm tall and around 80 kilos. I went for about a month eating mass amounts of food, protein shakes and all the rest of it and then I just gave up. Now I'm more focused on heavy weight lifting with calisthenics on the side and I've seen some pretty solid gains from where I left off. Whatever you do, don't get into the habit of neglecting cardio because your metabolism is fast. We won't have fast metabolisms forever, and when it slows down you'll become a fatty in no time if you've got horrible habits.
Isn't it kind of simple, just figure out your basal metabolic rate, and eat more than that... And you may say you already eat loads, but you probably just eat like 3 meals a day composed of utter shit.
It is simple, as I bluntly said so in one of my comments here. OP is like the rest of the world; hoping for a change without actually taking the steps.
Eat a lot of really fattening foods. Start eating sticks of butter and raw lard. lol [editline]12th September 2011[/editline] Damn, I made myself hungry.
Same problem. Stocking up on protein this holidays, getting a routine from my track coach and gym trainer (hehe Pokemon) and working on that through the term and into the summer. Being in boarding school where food is not that good and you can't get LOADS of it and the fact that we get NO milk at all doesn't help either. Also, should I cut down on the amounts of sports I do? Currently doing track, basketball, rowing, soccer, tennis, bit of swimming, golf, squash and a bit of gym lately...
I don't know...Be a Fat-ass all day and eat stuff and don't do excersize.

If not I don't see how you will gain any useful mass.
[QUOTE=lemoncurry;32269071]Just to check, you are like, lifting stuff, right? I have two weeks holiday at the end of this week so I'll be constantly eating/gyming.
Consume gainer shakes through anal insertion.
My metabolism is insanely fast as well, im 6 3 and just 10 stone. I cannot put the weight on its near impossible, even eating full family sized pizzas with cheesy bites!
