my uncle let me use his pen to take some notes, Zebra F301. it's a pretty dang smooth pen.
also here's a weird question that i've always wondered: can you really use blood as ink for a fountain pen?
If you have a centrifuge and take out the platelets then you can other other than that red blood cell would also oxdise and shrink and decay
Whats everyones favorite youtube fountain pen channels?
Go get a Z24 converter for it and buy of bottle of ink in the colour you like!
I'm going to get one of those metal G-2s. I'm planning to use 1.0mm blue because I'm getting tired of fine point.

You can use montblanc inktubes in G2 with a little modification for the best writing pen ever.
I've been using Inc Forma 1.0s for work lately in both Black and Blue, and can honestly say that they work better for me than my G2s. For some reason, all of my G2s ball up their ink on the end of the pen and cause a mess whenever I put them in my shirt pocket, which is usually where I keep them. Being around water for my job (water treatment), the Forma ink doesn't smear as easily and writes really well like the G2 and feels about the same, weight and size-wise. I also can't spin my G2 like I do my Forma without the ink balling up, as well, which is a jittery habit from school that has carried over to whenever I'm sitting and listening to someone speak.
Dunno if this has been posted already, but here's a video of writing with a fountain pen.

I couldn't keep the sound on. Like nails on a chalkboard. Pretty though
is there really a whole 8 page thread on pens?!
the most boring idea for a thread
no h8
Well, it has been a week since I got the Parker Vector, it's pretty good for 15 bucks, it has a fine nib, but I write so small that fine is pretty large for my writing so I use the backside of the nib.
Apart from that it's amazing, looks amazing compared to ballpoint, lines look continuous. And about ink consumption 3/4 of the small cartridge, no converter.

For the equivalent of 15 dollars, it's amazing.

That is what i used to do because my writing was incredibly small, before i started using fountain pens i wrote with 0.3mm ballpoint pens. Now i write with a Fine japanese nib which is about the equivalent of an extra fine for the European nib size

I noticed that the pilot falcon is about the most scratchy pen i ever had, most other fountain pens run a lot smoother and with a lot less noise.

Yes, but I want a metal G-2. V:v:V
This is a nice porcelain ballpoint pen my dad brought back from a trip to China:

It's got a cool dragon on the cap and writes pretty smoothly

I could imagine that to be quite heavy on the hand
The body's actually pretty light, but the cap is heavier than the body so if you leave it put it on the back it'll tip back in your hand. I haven't used it enough to determine if it's easier to write with or without the cap.
*Scrubbed*
Too be honest, i just buy a pack of 50 pens for 10$ they don't last that long because accidents and running out of ink but i haven't had to buy a new pack in 3 years.
A lot of people tell me that and say why spend money on a pen when you can buy cheapo disposable pens. I say since you're using it everyday don't you want a nicer experience and also the pen basically last forever and never really comes into any problems if you just don't treat it like crap.
Haven't used a pen in months. I just have some cheap ones around just in case

They invented this thing called a 'refill'. You should check them out.
Just bought a lamy safari!
Can't wait till it comes.
As a left handed person it can get quite frustrating when my hand collects and smudges ink across the page. Would anyone have any suggestions for a fine tipped pen that has a fast drying ink? I found a pen called the Jetstream from UniBall and I haven't had any issues with smudging but the writing quality is sub-par.

I have this, the 1.0 vomits ink. It makes it really bold.
I have this, the 1.0 vomits ink. It makes it really bold.
Cool! That's exactly what I'm going for. :v:
I recently picked up the Unibal Jetstream 101, it feels a lot like a ballpoint, the barrel is thicker than the cheaper disposable Bic roundstic grips I mentioned a few pages ago.
The grip feels okay but it isn't very grippy as I hoped it to be. It feels like it has a matte finish on the grip. The cap is just like the ones you find on gel pens. It doesn't touch the tip of the pen when you put the cap on, just like every other ballpoint pen. The cap has this weird opening on top, no idea why it's there.
The ink tube looks pretty thin. The ink itself dries pretty fast, like a ballpoint (which is oil based).
When I start writing, I get an uneven line with some line skipping. After that it's very smooth and very nice. Now I need to find a place that has them packaged in blue and other colors and it's officially my new favorite disposable pen on the inexpensive side.
7/10
I'm constantly running low on pens, either I lose them, or someone steals them from me. As a result
I just swipe pens from the teacher, solves all my problems and it's very cheap.
Lamy safari arrived, love it!
I prefer pens that you can buy in bulk. I don't know why people buy "fancy pens". they have one purpose and that is too write.
