Yeah. But you still want to buy a decent pen.
I get my decent pens from other people that I "borrow"
Having a fancy pen is like having a fancy phone or car or house.

All pens write, but some pens write well. That's the reason.

They're just better. Not all pens were created equal, the same way not all of any product was created equal.
I need to find more places to buy Unibal Jetstream 101's. I can get a dozen of black or blue at staples or 3 black for $4 at walmart.
Written posts. Make it a thing.

My own contribution, then. Hopefully you can read my handwriting.

Maybe a silly question: why are some pen ink tubes so thin?
Capitalism? But a more accurate/less sarcastic answer would probably be for the simplicity of producing it with less materials and the ability to fill a wider range of pens.
Should hopefully be getting a new nib or pen, not sure, to practice some kind of calligraphy alphabet with.
I don't know if this fits in with the rest of this, but I like to make pens.
And spin them. My favorite ones are double sided-tip pens that are retractable.
Here is an example of both the spinning and the pen.

Each of those pens there are made by the spinners themselves, or some who lack the skill, buy them off of others.
Does this fit for this thread?
I really find pens awesome. My favorite one to write in is a Pilot G-2 and a R.S.V.P. (Cheap ones.)

a fancy pen that last forever or a pen that dies in a month its really an investment and also a better experience
I would buy nice pens but my handwriting is terrible and I would feel bad putting a good writing instrument to waste

That's a terrible reason not to use a proper pen.
That's a terrible reason not to use a proper pen.
There's a difference between proper and nice, the pens I use work perfectly fine for me, I just don't want to spend extra money on anything fancy because it's not going to make my writing any better and I don't see a reason to have it unless you do calligraphy or care about your writing. I just chicken scratch crap all day, so it's kinda pointless to buy something nice.

sorry if that came off as kinda aggressive

I'm just saying that you should use a nice pen regardless of your handwriting. That is if you want to.
Ordered diamine presidential blue ink, a new nib, and a converter. Can't wait until they arrive.

Here's a quick pen spinning freestyle I did for you guys. Couldn't quite get the camera angle right, though.

Use that.

Nevermind you fixed it.

Fellow pen spinner! :D
That is a buster?
Looks premade. Hm... Still good. :D

Yeah, premade, but I actually added a few metal rings to it, so it's a little bit heavier than a normal Buster.
All my other mods are self-made, I was just struck with an extreme wave of laziness when making a PenWish order. :v:
My new ink and nib arrived, after some use of it I'll do a review of it. sadly I don't have any other fountain pens on me that I can use to test it, so it'll only be seen with the lamy safari.
So how do you guys write stuff on paper? With the paper over a hard surface like a table or over a soft surface like over another sheet of paper or notebook?
I always found writing on a hard surface gives me a thinner line and writing is often smoother.

I prefer to write over a soft surface, I feel like it's easier to the hand than writing on a hard surface.
Crap, can't find other store that sells Uniball Jetstream 101's besides Walmart but it's only a pack of 3 black.
Apparently Staples are starting to skimp on the selection of their pens. A few of their stores no longer carry Pilot G2s which makes me sad. The only other place is Walmart. They don't even have the refills anymore. It's all corporate fault too. Well that sucks.

Because the other guy didn't get the link right.

Couldn't find a better picture, but this is easily the best pen i have ever held, and the only pen i trust for drawing. I have ransacked my high school teacher's desks just to find these.

Smoother than I though you would be for your spinning age! Very nice, but you should really get a desk angle, or a top down like my videos used to be.
