http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azd3Yq3xKOw Here's my attempt at a new angle. I just strapped my camera to a lamp. It's better, but I'm still having a little bit of trouble getting everything in the frame.
I would like need to buy a specific amount or more to get free shippob. Yeah I could do that.
Jetpens, right? I've ordered a lot of shit from there. It's a pretty good service.

I want to learn how to spin.
My own contribution, then. Hopefully you can read my handwriting.

Wow, your handwriting looks like Einstein's!

Even the angle is almost the same.

If you're using a normal camera/webcam I'd recommend going to a car boot sale or market, I bought a tripod for £5 there and there's usually someone selling a tripod on the cheap. Then you can either stick it on your desk or set it up next to it. I use one on my desk when I clear it off.
If you have a webcam, I'm not sure, bigger lamp, maybe? Put your PC on the left side of your desk and mount it on the side of your PC with tape?

If you put into youtube "Thumbaround tutorial", the first video will be Ktrinh93's video. He has a lot of videos for new pen spinners.
Other tutorial guys on youtube are Eso (He's very old school, known to be better than Ktrinh) and SuperVValrus (who has an annoying squeaky voice that sounds like he's been smoking since the age of 9)

Couldn't find the Jetstream 101 at all.

It's a normal digital camera, and I think I have a tripod laying around the house somewhere. I dunno, though.
Anyway, I've also been trying to make my combos a little bit less spammy. Feels like every other thing I do is either an inverse or twisted sonic.
Now that finals are over I think i can finally update and add more to this thread...later...

Exams ended a earlier this week, so happy. Now I'm just playing games and editing videos.

If you want to learn new, simple, but good looking links, I'd recommend watching makin:

If you have HTML5 beta enabled on youtube, you can slow it down to 0.25 speed and watch what he's doing. He does very simple stuff but if you learn it the way he does it, it will make your style cleaner and more smooth.
Alternatively, if you want to become a more technical-based spinner, I'd recommend watching eriror's old 2007 videos for inspiration as he was a technical legend back then:

(He beat bonkura and came second in the world tournament 2007)

Thanks, but I disagree. I just write in script all the time, and have the swirly flairs at the ends of several of my letters. As for the angle, yeah, I guess I sort of do, don't I. :/
Bought a metropolitan and Quink. Quink is so grey, it sucks.
I use this at work, had it for four years now:

Only one I really have, if I had to get another I'd probably get a Waterman instead of a Cross. I personally can't stand thin or light pens at all.
I personally like a cross pen over a waterman pen. Cross construction and find tuning is amazing, not saying waterman is any bad
What about this pen? It scans colors and then you can right them down. Any color

finally bought some of that unibal jetstream 101's black from walmart, still hunting for local places with blue.

I've come to enjoy it. I came from using India ink which is like super thick black ink. I'm getting fairly good at writing, now.

Decided to record some more of my spinning. I've made a bit of progress in the past couple of months.
A guy at our work likes to make pens. Just got this from him today

It's not too heavy and the ink is just thick enough to where it dries quickly and doesn't smear.
Anyone know where I can buy some Pilot G2's in bulk for a decent price?

Many store locations probably don't have those 12 or 24 packs of the G2. Try looking online.

Where are you buying this from and where the hell are you?
Where are you buying this from and where the hell are you?
Jetpens, Toronto.
Bought a metropolitan and Quink. Quink is so grey, it sucks.
Quink for me runs sleek black right after filling and then starts to gray out to a certain point. It's got a little shading to it. Blue Quink seems like it would suck even more ass though. I wouldn't use Quink in anything but low end Parker pens.
I just joined this website and I thought it is all about pens!! I was showing a friend Parker pens and I liked your posts but it was hard to find you guys among all other groups here!
So I wonder where can I find Pentel Stylo BLUE ink. Please if anyone knows reply to me :)
Thanks
