Pen master race people don't make mistakes.
then why does white-out exist
I need to get another Zebra pen because I lost the one I had. I hate carrying my Fisher Space Pen around because I'm paranoid of losing it but it's easily my favorite pen. My workhorse pen is mostly my Pilot Cavalier Executive.

Copics multiliners kill Microns. Once dry, nothing will smear them, my Prisma markers don't even get fucked up if I draw over them, even with light grey and yellow and shit. They come in a shitload of sizes with retardedly negligible differences and even brushes.
I love fountain pens, I just don't have a nice one. I have one of the cheapy ones you can buy at any Jo-Ann Fabrics for like 20 bucks. I want to move up, but I can't really write cursive. At all. I really enjoy decorative, broad fonts though, and I'm not terrible. It's more drawing than anything. I'm hoping to purchase some Brause Bandzug nibs, and some pen holder and get into dipping, as far as I've seen (not far) dip pens are much preferred over fountain pens for the stylistic broad fonts. Anyone have experience with dip pens?
Could anyone do a pen trick section as I know very little on it?
I think I'll ask eurocracy about it. I'm quite certain he's more experienced with pen spinning than me, especially since I'm not quite good enough to do anything video-worthy yet.

As for dip pens if you like the stylistic broad fonts i assume more gothic then a copperplate dip pen would suit best. Search around on ebay people usually auction of whole boxes full of dip pen nibs and holders for very cheap although i personally don't really like a dip pen as much due to the balance as i need the cap to balance off of.

i am here to help
What pen would you all recommend for something different then writing, like for drawing? I know this sounds weird but I like drawing/shading with pens more then with pencils, but I don't know a good pen to use.
man now i really want to use a fountain pen i think the best pen i've ever used in my life is a uni-ball, although imo pentel rsvps are real dark and smooth, but the ink comes out irregularly if you go long enough not using it

And I thought I had seen everything the internet had to offer, guess I was wrong, again.
I pretty much went through school using this Parker pen exclusively: [t]http://www.executivepensdirect.com/images/products/parker/S0705660.jpg[/t]
My pen is the best

I want to get good at gothic script with a fountain pen and do all my schoolwork in it.
I want to get good at gothic script with a fountain pen and do all my schoolwork in it.
Get a stub nib or a broad nib they are relatively cheap and get deep dark black ink like a watermans noir black. Then get some tracing paper and line guides and start practising [editline]29th April 2013[/editline]
My pen is the best
Through out my schooling life I hated these pens the tip was so thick the ink was also clunky and it was so easy to break
[t]http://www.thespacereview.com/archive/613a.jpg[/t] sometimes i find i need to write my last will and testimate inside a blast furnace, and or on the side of an airlock while it slowly opens to the void of space, and this is the pen that won't crap out, also it won't ever run out of ink (i mean... unless your writing novels with it), mine is just a cheap 4 dollar museum pen, but since the beauty is in the cartrige, it doesn't matter the package, only complaint is that the ink isn't always consistant and skips from time to time [editline]28th April 2013[/editline] also the tiny bullet one is impossible to write with for long periods of time, its too tiny, even with the cap on, because the cap flies off with any pressure [editline]28th April 2013[/editline] last semester i went through pens like every other week, this semester ive used my old smithsonian spacepen for notes and i haven't run out of ink yet, and it appears to have no signs of running out any time soon [editline]28th April 2013[/editline] also this was not developed by nasa, just incase youve heard the myth behind it, and the reason why this is better than a pencil is because woodshavings + oxygen + small spacecraft + spark = bad bad bad
Oh yay a pen thread, I thought of making this a while back but I thought it would be stupid so yeah... Anyways, I made a promise to myself to never buy any pens ever again because I have a ton at home already. Like probably around 700 that I will never use. Although I would bend that a bit if I was to get a Pilot G2 0.5mm (I have a 1.0 and it unloads too much ink for my usage) or that blue Pilot Hightechpoint 0.3. Anyways the main pen I use is a Bic Ultra Round Stic Grip 1.0+ Blue, it's a great, cheap ballpoint pen and the grip always feels nice. [editline]28th April 2013[/editline] I should buy these soon, or wait until September during the back to school sale http://www.staples.ca/en/Pilot-Hi-Tecpoint-Rollerball-Pens-Grip-V5-Blue-2-Pack/product_556145_2-CA_1_20001 [editline]28th April 2013[/editline]
[T]http://i2.minus.com/iYNbV2bLTUDJd.jpg[/T] Wow, I always though people were joking about having fancy pens but I guess there is a wide group of "pen-enthusiasts" out there. I myself have a couple of crappy PaperMate pens that do the job fine in school. I also have somewhat of a weird grip of my writing utensils so having cushy surface for my ring finger is helpful.
There's pen conventions and shows. I'm not kidding.
This thread has made me want a fountain pen, went to office max and saw a cheapo Metal Parker Vector for about 20 bucks, my main pen has always been these Bic babes, reliable and cheap, what else can a man ask for. God, I love these things. I can never go back to a Bic pen again. Unfortunately, though, Pilot doesn't make a yellow G2. MY RAINBOW IS FOREVER INCOMPLETE.
