Kids in the Hall and Mr. Show were both just as good. Touch my hand, we must partake in an ancient Ugandan ritual to make you worthy of my friendship. Tim and Eric is good but a lot of people don't enjoy them because they aren't analytically competent enough to do so.
I don't think so. Monty Python is unique in its own way and is unlikely to be spawn a successor in the near future. And my brain now hurts.
I dunno, I still like the humor.
wkuk pissing on my leg sketch seems kinda like something like monty python would do.
The new generation has a devolved sense of humour, they like American Dad, Robot Chicken and that kinda shit. :sigh:
Humor these days is "LOL I HAVE A PEN.... WITH A FORK ON IT LOLOLOLOLOLOL"
Humor these days is "LOL I HAVE A PEN.... WITH A FORK ON IT LOLOLOLOLOLOL"
That and mostly crude dick jokes. And more crude jokes. Even though some are funny, they're just cheap laughs.
Humor these days is "LOL I HAVE A PEN.... WITH A FORK ON IT LOLOLOLOLOLOL"
that'd actually be pretty cool. not for entertainment but i mean a pen with a fork on it fuck, that's revolutionary
Monty Python was fantastic because they were pioneers in the arts of comedy sketch. They are brilliant, their stuff just doesn't get old, albeit 40 odd years old. I prefer things like QI and Top Gear, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and things like that for my comedy rather than today's sketch shows.

Robot Chicken is great fun, although it's not the same kind of humor as Monty Python.
Nothing will ever be like Monty Python. Sometimes I think everybody related to comedy these days signed a contract stating that they legally can't actually be funny.
I was just thinking this earlier today: What ever happened to sitcoms? There aren't any anymore.
Big Bang Theory. That is all. [editline]06:38AM[/editline] I dunno I liked Tom Goes to the Mayor a lot more than Tim and Eric.. Tim and Eric is too freeform for me or something

I honestly didn't find any of it funny... Also there's not much difference between furry porn and ordinary hentai if you exclude the fact that they have fur.

Congratulations, you're as unfunny as the crap you're watching.
You guys are trying to tell me this isn't funny?
Eddie Izzard is pretty close. But he's not sketch, just stand up. He's even known as the lost python. [editline]05:19PM[/editline] Tim and Eric Awesome show Great Job, and Hotbox are two pretty damn funny shows too. But they don't really compare.
That Mitchell and Webb Look is similar.
Whitest Kids U Know?
That Mitchell and Webb Look is similar.
I was about to mention Mitchell and Webb. << Big fan of Sir Digby Chicken Cesar.
Maybe SNL, that's the closest thing I can think of. SNL is pretty funny most of the time.
I thought Mr. Show was pretty close.

The sketches are brilliant. Tairy Greene's acting seminar for children is one of the best sets.
no
No. Good comedy is dead and shall be forevermore. Now get me a shrubbery.
