I really liked Bionicle and I used this name on a Bionicle forum, and it stuck.
Goofy is obviously the coolest Disney character and my real name starts with M.
Moofy, hi.
DudeGuy is generic. KT is from my youtube. Boom.
My name is the title of a deathgrind song I really like by the band Quest of Aidance.
Just came up with it one day and I used it ever since, and it was totally random
It's my name but with an added l, first used it in 2000 and have stuck by it ever since.
My first account on facepunch got banned because i voted in idiot cull :v: Hence the V2.

One helluva long time ago, me and my little brother shared one account on some online game I've long forgotten since then. The name we chose for that account was a mixture of our names, which made the name Jordax, which I've been using ever since.
I made this name 6 years ago.
I have no fucking clue how I came up with it. No fucking clue what it means.
Do you know how frustrating it is to be called something for 6 years without knowing what it is
Was making a mount and blade character, and I always name them by smashing a couple keys on the keyboard then adding in vowels to make it look like a word, Sio was one of the results.
Tigge is my nickname and for some reason english speaking people can't pronounce it. That's why I'm using it.
I used a name generator to get "nekz" for a WoW character. I wanted to use "nekz" at the time as a youtube username, but it was taken.
I added the "h" to create "nehkz" and it's stuck ever since.
Back around when the Scott Pilgrim film came out, me and a friend had our steam names set to Wallace Wells and Stephen Stills (it was funny when people noticed us on the same team on tf2, I remember one time a guy got super excited about Stephen Stills being on his team and me being the good, hard-working engineer that I am got him stuck in a teleporter trap). We got sick of it after a while, but I decided after that to just simplify my steam to "The Stills" (before "The Stills" my steam and general username was "GiygasFear" but by then I had kind of lost interest in EarthBound) and it's stuck ever since.

Tigge like the start of Tigger? I am really confused on how you could possible pronounce it any other way...
(or like tig...you know the game where you tig people...some call it tag which makes more sense but whatever)
I used to like Pokemon a lot, so I chose one I liked and then added my birthday, I haven't changed since.
Mine's a combination of my first name (Jonathan) and last name (Madison,) not as clever as you all thought, is it :v:
i wanted a name that referenced angels sort of so i thought of get your wings (which is also the name of the best aerosmith album)
i then formatted it to GetYourWingz (z because it looks cooler)
then people started calling me "Get" as a nickname and it was annoying so i told people to call me "Wingz" and it stuck
(Actual name is meant to be killerkid745 but it was taken)
I was making a Runescape account when I was hella young but KillerKid was taken so I did the random number thing it did and got KillerKid745, shortened to KillerKid when possible.
My dad once said that to a toy car of mine when I was a child
As a German i can relate that this is a valid statement!
My name though
I wanted a new name for CoD4 so at that time i was into Motorcycles (i still am) and there was a Bike called "Diavel" so i just thought adding z's makes everything cooler. (this is a stupid story)
Used to be called Sgt Moody on games before battlefield 2142, then when that came out I decided I would change it to cr2142 (cr being my initials)
nowadays I go by the name of HipsterHendrix due to the gaming community im apart of calling me a hipster because I own vinyl records.
I love legos and transformers, so i combined them together.
They where my childhood
My name, I was born on the 11th, 7 stands for July and 72 is also my family identification number.
my forum handle is simply a portmanteau of The Zone (from Stalker) and Transylvania.
Back in 2004 I was making a Runescape account for myself in 2nd grade. I was stumped on a username until my dad suggested "Psycho Jake" since I was really hyper as a child. It kind of stuck and I've used it for everything for the past decade.
It's the name of a street in a town i go to in summer.
really, the street name is actually all caps
This wasn't my first internet handle, i'd rather not say what my first was.
This name was Originally 'TuskinRaider' back during Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy multiplayer Days.
It was a Misspelled of 'Tusken Raider'. Not on purpose I thought it was spelled that way. I eventually shortened it to Tuskin.
I was a stupid kid looking up info on Starcraft before I bought it, and somehow assumed that the "blue marines" sprayed water to battle firebats.
Stupidest fucking thought I've ever had, but the name stuck, mainly because I didn't care enough to change it.
Richard Nixon is an inside joke with my friends. Nixon is dead.
