I watched a stop-motion video a few years back that revolved around a lego Darth Vader threatening to kill people with a food tray, so I made my name DBFT, for Death-By-Food-Tray.
When I look back on that, it wasn't actually that funny.
I killed a man and took it from him.
I like kirby a lot, and 2112 is a great song.
Scooby doo's autistic little cousin
It's a name from a Beatles album and movie, "Yellow Submarine"

The character in the above picture is a "Blue Meanie"
I played with Rockem Sockem robots, my favorite thing ever.
I thought Sockem was the red one, red being my favorite color, so I used it for some internet shit when I was 8.
After nearly ten years, I feel really wrong when I recognize Rockem and Sockem for their correct colors.
Was trying to think of a name to use on Habbo Hotel back in 2005 and i came up with robotman5, and have used that name ever since.
I started using Sobek about 19 years ago, when Duke Nukem 3D came out and some friends and I were playing multiplayer over modem-to-modem dialup. I was pretty obsessed with Egyptian culture back then and Sobek + Isis were my favourite Nile gods - I used to use Sobek Isis, but I shortened it to Sobek because people were too stupid to pronounce it properly (sobebskkssiiis, sobskekis etc etc).
I was a Facepunch member back in 2005 under a different (and poorly chosen) account name that I can no longer recall, and in 2007 when something happened to that account (forgot my password and couldn't recover it I think?) I wound up finally going with my normal Sobek. Unfortunately, some fecal bastard already took the 'sobek' username (and didn't even use a capital!!) so I was forced to put the little dash on the end. And the most frustrating part? The person who took my username never even made a single post!!!!
What are the odds we could get that wasted account deleted and my username changed to remove the dash? I'd like to be just 'Sobek' again. With a capital :(

I wanted to pick a Led Zeppelin song that was worthy of a username. I went as several until I decided "Tangerine" didn't really sound as bad as some of the ones I chose prior to that. I've kept the same alias for over a year now.
I was making a Steam account in late 8th grade
The last username I used was LifeRaider (which I made up to sound cool on a shitty old forum)
So I thought hey, I'm big and my name's Joe, so I went with Big Joey.
Then I played Portal 2 and added Lemons to the end of it because I was a fucking scrub and I joined Facepunch during that time, and now I wholly regret it.
I want to change my online handle to something else that I've thought of but I don't have the dough to make it permanent on here
I used to play Call of Duty: Black Ops when it was the most popular game in the series (When things were Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3).
I enjoyed the whole Zombies plot, my favorite characters were Samantha Maxis and Nikolai Belinski; I decided to name my account after Nikolai (The Sgt. comes from his rank in the Red Army).
I took my real name and then I typed it in.
old name was Brotherhood23
one day started making random names with X involved and created Xieneus
sounds nerdy as hell but whateva fuhgeddaboutit
I needed a new name because I wanted to have a fresh start on the net [sp]because of all the retarded shit i had done with my previous monkiers[/sp]. Naturally, as a Canadian, being Canadian is my one and only point of interest and as a result I wanted a name that related to cold, the one point of interest Canada has.
I chose a somewhat inconvenient medical condition. [sp]This didn't stop me from continuing to be retarded, obviously.[/sp]
sluggo, the bad guy from Mr. Bill
I was a very vain child.
I play games. I'm a chick. The end.
I've had this name for as long as I can remember playing MP games though... also, the number 5567 that you see on Steam or YouTube is the result of random dudes asking my age, I told them that and I guess I liked the number so it stuck.
Totenkreuz is a special move for gun users in the Disgaea series.
Was one of my favorite skills.
Because my name is Sam
and I added a 22 because I used the name Samiam22 for everything but now that I think numbers on the end of your name are kind of dumb but I'm too late to waste money to change my name to Samiam because there already IS a Samiam on this forum but he joined in 2012 so if I made my name Samiam to start I could have avoided but I didn't because I wasn't very bright back in 2008.
I used to like Pokemon a lot, so I chose one I liked and then added my birthday, I haven't changed since.
March 1st, 2012?
Back when I played Gunz: The Duel there was a hack that was injected into the game nicknamed the "Locust Plague". It would delete any character you played on (if you had multiple characters it would delete whichever you just played on). Well I only had 1 character so it was deleted. Not caring about stats or gear I just decided to smash my keyboard to make character names since I knew they would be deleted anyways. About 4-5 characters later the hack or whatever it was was fixed/patched and I was kinda left with this one. Again I didn't care and I just kept the name in case the hack came back so I ended up memorizing it (you need to understand that I played this shit pretty much every day when I had time).
I thought that using my real life name wasn't that great of an idea.
So one day I made snickerdoodles. They were really good.
So my name became Snickerdoodle.
[editline]If you're quoting this then I love you <33[/editline]
That was 8 days ago.
Now everytime someone mentions the cookie I see

i came up with it on the spot when registering
Got mine when I was younger. I used to go by 'justinofterror' because -everything- was taken on Warcraft 3's Battle.Net. Then I swapped over to Jrose14, copying my older brother's naming system of random shit from your name and putting 14 at the end of it (14 being his old jersey number for baseball). That's what I have now here on Facepunch, because I don't want to pay for a change.
I go by Rosey, or RoseyNineOneOne now because RoseyNineOneOne is a mouthful and is never taken. If it is, I go by RoseyTwoFourFour. So yeah, most people call me Rosey on Steam and in games.
I always find it funny, though, because when I'm not using my mic people like to mistake me for a female gamer, and hilarious scenarios often ensue. Either that or they call me a flaming faggot for having a girl's name, depends on the game.

I was 15 once; 1337 used to be cool.
Plus I was a colossal weeaboo and liked this one anime called Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Because I'm me
I like Hydra in Half Life 2 Beta :)
For the love of my n64.
My brother gave me the name, once for a domain.
Although, I prefer a different username since I had done a lot of stupid shit with it.
I have different user names for everything and needed one for this forum.
