Yes it will. This coming from a canadian
you shut up
Arret means Stop (although most signs will say both, there are some that only say Arret).
You'll only see Arret signs in Quebec, and everybody knows what a red octagon means anyway. If you go to Nunavut, you'll see these: :derp:
No, not at all. I don't think Canada had slavery, which is why America has a lot of black people, because we brought their ancestors in from a boat. There are some black people, in big cities I guess, there is probably a lot in Toronto but I don't know about where you're going.
Canada had just as much slavery as America, we just called them servants, we ended it earlier though which is when the slaves from America peaced to Canada, and then back to America when slavery ended and winter came by. Also just as a point of reference, there's only like 4-5 black people in my High School of like 1000, there's probably more British/Welsh people.
-;18510033']Problem with Tim Hortons, is I hate coffee. I'll still try it though due to all you're recommendations.
Try their sandwiches or donuts, you will fall in love. Oh, and dress warm. Canadia is cold, especially in the Banff area.
Just be chill, man.
Arret means Stop (although most signs will say both, there are some that only say Arret).
It only says both/Arret on military bases, or in Quebec and I'm pretty sure New Brunswick.
-;18510033']Problem with Tim Hortons, is I hate coffee. I'll still try it though due to all you're recommendations.
Try Timbits, they are basically mini doughnuts, but in the shape of a ball. They are absolutely delicious. Check out the Banff Hotsprings, it's basically a giant hot tub that you lounge around in while it's snowing. There is also an array of candy shops and things like that. Canada Olympic Park is good fun if you want some skii or snowboarding. They also have lessons.
-;18509981'] OMG garry WHY the fuck did you remove automerge! :@
What the fuck No he didn't

end every sentence with "Ey?"
end every sentence with "Ey?"
1. It's eh 2. It's mostly used as a replacement for inflection at the end of a question: "Snowing pretty hard, eh?"
1. immigration is easy to deal with 2. depending on where you are, BC is beautiful, ontario is like the american canada. most of the places you get to use US money, and there is lots of us shops. 3. it's cold 4. english Canadians hate french Canadians 5. people live there :downs: [editline]06:59PM[/editline] a few stores: safeway, tim hortons, london drugs, future shop, etc. [editline]07:02PM[/editline] look out for concerts and things, zz top was there last time I went

Taxes and gas are cheap in Alberta. 5% GST, no PST, gas is 87 cents/litre at the moment (compared to $1.07 in BC)
There are plenty of black people Slaves would escape to Canada, dumbass (User was banned for this post ("Trolling." - Greeman))
I don't see the troll [editline]01:51PM[/editline]
-;18509938']None? I don't know too many black people anyway, but that's interesting... is Canada a racist country? I live near Brighton, a night out is fucking expensive here anyway. We've been told the prices are similar, but at 3,000 meters, it takes less to get drunk; apparently other stuff is cheaper in general.
Learn some history
Taxes and gas are cheap in Alberta. 5% GST, no PST, gas is 87 cents/litre at the moment (compared to $1.07 in BC)
Won't be driving, unfortunately. Also, I'm just gonna try everything Tim Horton's offer, since everyone is recommending various bits.
Everything is twice as expensive. No, 3 dollars will NOT buy you a bag of chips and a bottle of coke.
Depends how cheap the store is
Even though this is posted in nearly every thread, it does offer some good tips:
