All I know about Banff is that there is a hotel there that looks just like the one from "The Shining". It was beautiful, but rather creepy.
The actual hotel is in Colorado.
Canada is cold.
Real cold. Too cold for anyone sensible.
But Canadians should prepare for warmer temperatures, since those Godless socialist pinko cowards will suffer an eternity in Hell.
I'm going to Banff for 6 months next year as a gapyear, I take it your going to sunshine village?
I've been before, it's probably the best ski resort i've ever been to, the snows fucking amazing and the park is awesome.
You'l have an amazing time i'm sure, I can't wait for it.
Oh and the drinking age is 18 in Banff so it's fine, that was one of my big concerns ;)
its because youre asian not canadian
Mind you, I moved to Canada 10 years ago, so I believe I do have the right to call myself a Canadian
I wish I could go to Canada :smith:
First thing you do in Banff. Candy shops. End all be all of Banff, you can get crap loads of candy you can't find anywhere else. It's like candy heaven.
People are very friendly.
Banff is fucking beautiful.
Milk comes in bags, as was said on page 1
Try the Lay's Ketchup potato chips. They're really not bad and I've never seen them in the states.
are you stupid
its fucking freezing up there do you think black people would want to live there
That's like saying there are no white people in hot places.
Take me with you.
Take me with you.
No me. I weigh less' I'm sure I can fit in your hand- luggage.
I don't like Banff very much, it feels like a Disneyland for rich old tourists
I live in Calgary and I have only been to Banff twice.
Don't drink the water.

Say goodbye to all your black friends, because you won't see any in Canada.
Lots of Asians though.
And pack some warm clothes if you go practically anywhere.
We have plastic milk jugs in Alberta, not bags.
I just thought I'd point that out.
You're going HERE.

I live on Vancouver Island, banff is pretty close. I have a few tips though.
Avoid Indians.
In BC, milk in bags do not exist.
You can get Smirnoff in BC.
Poutine is fucking delicious.
Tim Horton's is overhyped, hell it wasn't even created in Canada. :/
More McDonlads than you think.
BC is the most 'American' province.

Yes, you can get bagged milk in BC
Tim Hortons was created in Canada. Ontario, actually, by...well, Tim Horton, a Canadian
Banff is not close to Vancouver island!

Apparently Banff is currently about 2*c, but a week after we arrive a snow-front arrives (whoop) and it'll hit -15*c.
Awesome!
wind chill makes -15 feel like -30.
