Mary and Max
The Green Mile
Toy Story 3
I can't really think of any other movies that made me tear up. Also, Mary and Max, watch it now - you won't regret it!
1. Pokemon: The First Movie
That one is great.
Movies that made me feel slightly shit after watching:
Platoon,
Requiem for a dream
Leaving Las Vegas
Bladerunner
There are more but I can't think of them.
Harry Potter [sp] where dumbledore dies[/sp]
Toy Story 3, Damn the ending..
Children of Men isn't a top one but there are a lot of emotional parts there.
The Mist was pretty sad.

This is scene from platoon was pretty bad, especially the end.
just saw Animal Kingdom, that is up there.
Animal Kingdom was fucking amazing. I saw it in the theatre and i'm pretty sure everyone [sp]jumped a little when J shot Pope in the head. I totally wasn't expecting that[/sp]
1. Schindler's List.
2. The Green Mile
3. The Shawshank Redemption (the justice overtones are just so much for me...such a great film)
4. American History X
5. MARLEY AND FUCKING ME. I fucking screamed through the tears after that movie.

I'd post the second half of that scene where they try to get information out of the village elder, but that would mean I would watch it again and put me on a downer for the day. :sigh:
Toy Story 3.
What about Speed Racer. [sp] At the ending? [/sp]
The Lion King, the only film I can remember actually crying to. Toy Story 3 almost got me though.
Also what was sad about the Shawshank Redemption?
District 9 was pretty sad imo.
In no particular order:
The Green Mile
Forrest Gump
Inception
Requiem for Dream
and I want to mention Lost because it had some sad and emotional scenes.
In no particular order:
Peter Jackson's King Kong - When King Kong died (many years ago)
The Shawshank Redemption - The old guy and the ending
Cast Away - WILSON!!
Forrest Gump - The ending
Marley and Me is the only movie that's ever made me cry. My dog was sitting with me during ending, fuck
Children of Men isn't a top one but there are a lot of emotional parts there.
This, was a very emotional movie.
I guess that, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile and Band of Brothers usually gets me. (Even though BoB isn't a movie. But w/e.)
Only film I've ever cried at was Falling Down. Early Michael Douglas at his best.
1. The perfect storm always seems to make me cry
2. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest also did
3. So did The green mile
4. Letters from iwo jima did aswell
5. Crash did.
I could name some others aswell ( brokeback mountiain , gladiator, spr.) but i think those are the top ones for me.
Not really in any order..
Where the hell is Secondhand Lions here guys
[editline]13th October 2010[/editline]
i fucking love that movie
[editline]13th October 2010[/editline]
also cast away and forrest gump
Schindler's List (cried like a bitch near the end, when Schindler breaks down about not saving enough Jews)
The Road (book hit me more)
Terminator 2 (cried when I first saw it back in '92)
The World's Fastest Indian (I felt so elated when he qualified to run)
Can't think of a fifth as of yet.
The five that comes to mind for me are
The Pianist (when he is able to play the piano for the first time in AGES for the Nazi officer)
Schindler's List (Obvious on this one)
Letters From Iwo Jima (not cry but it made me feel sad for the characters)
Up (gaw blimey that was a great film, didn't make me cry but damn it nearly did)
The Lion King (when i was a kid it had me in tears)
Now people may disagree with me here with these two, but I thought 'The Hurt Locker' and 'Moon' were pretty emotional, not tear jerkers at all but they were ones where I got attached to the characters.
The Lion King :'(
It's been like 10 year since I last saw it, and yeasterday I heard the music which playes when Mufasa dies, and the memories came back, got chills all over me and shed a tear or two :)
I don't fear to admit that I cry like a girl when watching emotional and sad movies. Once and a while theyre great!
Up made me cry.
I also got really emotional in The Green Mile, but that's obvious.
Not really sure what else though.
In no particular order:
Oh boy, I cried on the two first times I saw the movie, some how I just related to Kong :/ Makes me a monkey I guess.
