Oh I forgot Castaway. Good damn, only Tom Hanks could make me feel emotional about a fucking ball.
In no particular order: Homeward Bound (Yea, you remember) Green Mile Click Big Fish The Mist (Not necessarily a good movie, ending was messed up though) Where the Red Fern Grows (mainly book version) Couldn't cut one out
Harold and Maude, Grave of the Fireflies, yes, the Green Mile for sure. Into the Wild, and uhm. Oh, Wall-E. Up. I could go on but you only asked for five.
I can't pick 5, so I'll just post movies that have got me to cry The Green Mile Forrest Gump Toy Story 3 Toy Story 2 Up Castaway Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me Cloverfield (Everyone is surprised when I say this, it's mainly the scene where Rob's mum phones him and he has to tell her that his brother/her son is dead) Love Actually Bicentennial Man Philadelphia Titanic Avatar Hedwig and the Angry Inch I'm sure there are more
In no particular order Schindler's List Se7en District 9 The Green Mile ???Insert chick flick???
Not a movie but Last Minutes with Oden definitely made me tear up.
How come no one has mentioned Gladiator?? I cried like a little girl[sp]when Gracchus asked who will help him carry Maximus off the field[/sp]...the fucking respect and emotion is overwhelming.
Dont flame me but, I just saw 28 weeks later and I thought I'd start crying at a few scenes, examples; [sp]When Don brutally killed his wife when he got infected[/sp] , [sp] when Doyle was burned to death [/sp] and [sp]when Scarlett was killed by don [/sp] :( Other movies; Green mile, Gran torino, F.M.J [sp]Really, Dat fucking fatass killed the best character in the movie, except adam baldwin[/sp]
#1 Gladiator #2 V for Vendetta #3 Green Mile #4 Toy Story 3 #5 Shawshank Redemption
One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest... God damn...
Has anybody seen the film "Dead man's shoes"? Brilliant film. [editline]10th November 2010[/editline] It's parmesan cheese. :v:
Toy Story 3.
E (2001)
1. American Beauty (surprised no one's said this) 2. Big Fish 3. Finding Neverland 4. Forrest Gump [sp]the ending every damn time[/sp] 5. The Iron Giant
Marley & Me
The first Pokemon movie Schindler's List Saving Private Ryan The Lion King The Lion King again [SP]FUCK YOU SCAR ;_;[/SP]
Before The Fall Thin Red Line Those are the saddest ones I can think of straight away.
1. Toy Story 3 - I honestly started crying at the part [sp]with the flames in the junkyard[/sp]. :frown: 2. Gran Torino - The ending. :saddowns: 3. WALL-E 4. The Iron Giant - :saddowns: 5. District 9 6. Bridge to Terabithia - The part where [sp]the girl died. I was sad.[/sp] Only 6 movies I can remember that came close/did make me cry, then again I don't watch too many sad movies. :frown:
The Green Mile is good but it never really got to me. This scene from Schindler's List, on the other hand, gets me every fucking time [editline]11th November 2010[/editline] ;_; [editline]11th November 2010[/editline]
6. Bridge to Terabithia - The part where [sp]the girl died. I was sad.[/sp]
Maybe when I was younger but now all I ever associate with it is this
The Elephant Man That's the only movie that comes to mind that I balled like a baby over, so god damn depressing. Green Mile and stuff was emotional but I didn't cry, although I tend to shed a tear when I watch movies that are simply beautiful i.e: -2001 : A Space Odyssey -Stalker -Blade Runner.
In no order. I can't choose which is better. Marley & Me WALL-E Titanic Gran Torino Of Mice and Men
Since when emotional means sad?
1-5 anything made by pixar. [editline]11th November 2010[/editline]
Since when emotional means sad?
Because sadness/empathy is one of the easiest strong emotions to create in films.
Bolt. :saddowns:
I was just so sad the next 3 days because of the ending scene. If you are not going to watch the movie.. Then here is why: [sp]A nazi officer is the head of a gas-camp, he's son comes in contact with one of the jews, in the end he decides to get under the fence and joins the jewish boy, but when the boy was getting gassed in on of the chambers... GASSED BY YOUR OWN FATHER[/sp] :smith:
Asses of Fire When its over
Forrest Gump!
The Shawshank Redemption. The rooftop scene gets me every time. District 9 was also... just depressing.
