• My gun's jammed?

Got a CA M15A4 Carbine. I tried shooting it yesterday and fired off a few rounds then all of a sudden it stopped firing. Like when I pull the trigger it makes a noise somewhere near the motor. I looked in the part where the clip enters and near the handle and didn't see any BB's. I'm charging the battery right now anyway but I don't think it's that. I did a search a while ago and some dude had this happen, he charged it and then it did it again.
Might have something to do with your trigger's connection. I'm not sure though, so try to charge your battery and use the included unjamming rod first.
Jam the unjamming rod down the barrel. Also, please use the questions thread next time.
I might fuck something up lol.
That's kinda impossible, and is the only way to make your gun shoot again.
Check your motor height too.
Check your motor height too.
If it was motor height it would probably just be making a satanic scream.
He never said what kind of sound near the motor. But jesus i hate that sound. its like "SCRRRRRRRRCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
He never said what kind of sound near the motor. But jesus i hate that sound. its like "SCRRRRRRRRCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
That is true. I was just assuming the clunking sound that means a gear jam.
I have the same gun as you, mine does it a lot, it locks up randomly and I have to take the motor out and put it back in a certain way in, it's a pain in the ass, also, I think everyone would appreciate it greatly if you used the questions forum from now on, but otherwise, welcome.
Sounds more like a gearbox lock up. If it was a barrel jam your gearbox would keep cycling, just not shooting anything. Try taking the motor out and back in like others have said. Trust me you can't really screw that up. Just unscrew the 2 screws on the bottom of the grip, remove the plate, and remove the wires to pull the motor out. Put it all back. If it doesn't work and the same clicking noise is happening then you'll have to open the gearbox weather you like it or not.
I stripped my gun down to the gearbox once, put it back together, the motor seems to lock up on the gear in the gearbox, it could be a battery though, since it likes to do it towards the end of the day, i'll see when I get a new battery and smart charger for christmas. Otherwise when it does work, it's a decent gun.
I know a kid who bought a CA M4 sportline. Its gears jammed so his plan was to take apart the gearbox and put it back together. He took it apart. It never went back together.
I was smart and used a guide, I also did it for learning, I recall asking you guys for a little help. Well, it ended up when I was putting it back together, I broke the carrying handle spring, but otherwise it's no biggie.
I dont know, my friends CYMA Thompson had a bad jam (He doesnt care for his guns) and it actually managed to lock up the gearbox some how. So... It could be a jam.
Take his Thompson, bash him with the butt, then tell him TO TAKE CARE OF HIS DAMN GUNS.
I yelled at him after I stripped it down, fixed it, lubed and adjusted the mechbox, swapped out the spring (he left it decompressed for like, half a year), and tightened tolerances.
Thanks guys. It turned out to be the battery I guess, even though I didn't think so as it just stopped so abruptly. I charged it and now it's fine.
