-Marathon -Age Of Empires series -Conkers Bad Furday -Myst -Battlefield: Vietnam (greatest soundtrack) plus a bunch of obscure early macintosh games
Anyone that thinks Marathon is a great game wins a golden sticker in my book.
Super Mario 64 - It was the first game I've ever played and I fell in love with it from the start as 3 year old me. I still go back to replay it whenever I plug my N64 in. Half Life 2 (Garry's Mod kind of falls under this as well) - Easily the most important one for me, I really doubt I'd be into PC gaming (At least not as early) if not for it. GTA: Vice City - Definitely the game I'm most nostalgic over. I remember spending hours just goofing around with me and my half-brother just passing the controller back and forth. It's just a shame because now I really can't get too into it playing it on the PC. TES IV: Oblivion - My first RPG that I must've spent at least 100 hours on as a kid, still one of my favorites despite its flaws (But hey that's nostalgia for ya). Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Got me into stealth games, which is now my overall favorite genre.
Quake 2 (PC) Unreal Tournament '99 (PC) Starcraft/Brood War (PC) Diablo 2 (PC) Donkey Kong Country (SNES) Soul Blazer (SNES) 6 instead of 5, but honestly it's hard limiting it to just that much. So many games from my childhood were amazing.
Crash Bandicoot (Mostly Crash Bash) Spyro: Ripto's Rage Pokemon Emerald Seek and destroy(Some tank game on the PS2) Sly Cooper 1-3
Final Fantasy 9 Bully Metal Gear Solid 3 GTA San Andreas Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Half-Life (PC) San Andreas (PS2 and Xbox Original) Destroy All Humans 2 (PS2) Vice City (PS2) Counter-Strike 1.6 (PC)
Tomb Raider Crash Bandicoot: Warped Jack and Daxter: Precursor Legacy Ratchet and Clank 2 SSX 3
Sunset Riders for Sega Genesis: because even parents can play side-scrolling shooters Mario Kart 64: because it exists Goldeneye 64: slappers only Super Smash Bros for N64: flipped my shit when this came out Halo 1 Xbox original: the first time I played this was on multiplayer. Somehow I managed to headshot everyone with the overpowered pistol and win a few matches without knowing what the jump button was. :v:
5. Conker's Bad Fur Day 4. Final Fantasy X 3. Chrono Trigger 2. Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright 1. Metal Gear Solid 3 (my favourite game of all time. And arguably the best in the series)
5. Goof Troop for the SNES (first ever video game when I was like 6 or 7) 4. Star Wars Ep 1 for the PS1 3. Army Men for the PS1 2. Age of Empires for PC 1. Empire Earth for PC I'm judging "childhood" is defined as ages 1-12/13. If you go by teenage years, it would be 5. Star Wars Bounty Hunter for PS2 4. Ratchet & Clank for PS2 3. Jak & Daxter 3 for PS2 2. Star Wars Battlefront 2 for PS2 1. Empire Earth I think I have played more Empire Earth than all other video games combined. If you're going by my early 20s, which is up to now (me being just about 25), I would say 5. TES V: Skyrim for 360 4. Napoleon: Total War for PC 3. GTA V for 360 2. Rome: Total War for PC 1. Empire: Total War for PC

Oh man, this'll be easy: In order: Unreal Tournament Half-Life Half-Life 2 Garry's Mod Counter-Strike: Source Of course I played all sorts of older games, but FPSes have always been my thing since my first match of UT. I thought it was so fucking cool at the time, but then my Dad told me I should try Half-Life, and after I played that, I wanted Half-Life 2. Me watching videos of Half-Life 2 stuff lead me to Garry's Mod machinimas. So, I got the CS:S/GMod combo. One day after playing a bunch of GMod, I figured I'd try and get into CS:S. So, I did, and now my weekly gameplay has a large amount of CSGO in it. Unreal Tournament showed me the joy of multiplayer arena fighting. Half-Life showed me narrative and problem solving. Half-Life 2 showed me graphics. Garry's Mod showed me unraveling a game to its core and bending it to your will, and CS:S showed me strategy. Forget school, just give children games from 1998 and other Valve ones.
Half-Life Half-Life Opposing Force Half-Life 2 Garry's Mod Counter-Strike: Source Timesplitters 2
Half life 1/2 Lego Indiana jones Spore Halo Portal Quake 3 Minecraft :suicide:

Half-Life Series (Including CS:S, Opposing Forcce, etc. they all played an equal part) Oddworld Abe's Oddysee/Exoddus (My favorite hands down, two of the best games ever made IMO) Early Need for Speed Series All the stock games that came with Windows 98, like Jezzball and Chip's Challenge. I also had a CD that was a compilation of children's games, like Reader Rabbit, Putt Putt, Freddy Fish, etc. Oh man that takes me way back...)
Runescape Donkey Kong 64 Pokemon Ruby Battlefield 1942 Counter-Strike 1.6
Pokemon Emerald Halo 1 Spy fox Putt putt saves the zoo Age of empires 1 (Anyone else remember when these were given out in nutri-grain boxes?)
Runescape -With a total of 9 years played and 200-250 days playtime logged over that course of time, It's fair to say that this is my most played game of all time and really had a profound impact on my life and who I am now. It's too hard to put into words what this game meant and still does mean to me with words. Pokemon Sapphire -Most playtime on a game up until Runescape by far. Super Smash Bros Melee -Got me into Fighting Games and more Nintendo series that I can list. Halo 1+2 -We really took this series for granted, my first real M games and big online multiplayer experience. Team Fortress 2 -The game that largely got me into PC gaming.
Resident Evil. Man, I swear I spent several hundred dollars hiring that game. Phantasy Star IV. I was hopeless at it and it took me literally over six years to beat it (my Megadrive was broken and froze a LOT), but it took up such a large portion of my childhood, I can't not list it. Quake 2. Man, that game was awesome for the time. Even if it did feel like a tech demo. Dangerous Dave. First game I ever played. I still fuck around in it every now and then. and finally DOOM. It has been my favourite game for well over a decade now. I played it so much I could literally complete levels with my eyes closed.
Super Mario 64 Super Mario Sunshine Pokemon Fire Red Super Smash Bros. Melee Mario Kart: Double Dash!
