Hey, OP. You see these posters saying they never study or take notes but always get A's or B's? They're bullshitting, don't listen to them.
Just do your shit right after class when you come home or something. Not only do you finish it with a fresh mind, but you take that out of the way to do everything else.
No we're not. Some people don't do their homework and get through school without problems.
I don't study because the tests they give me are full of shit we haven't even learned yet.
But chew some flavoured gum. I heard that's a good way to study.
I didnt, i failed, now im a jobless mass sat infront of a screen for 20 hours a day
I don't study, I just remember it the first time, unless it's really hard.
I think if I ever didn't really comprehend the class material I might study, but most of the time I understand it, or I'm on par with the rest of the class so it isn't a problem.
Generally I just stare at it from interesting angles.
When I really have to though: music.
Don't study, wait until you get shit mock exam results and wait until your parents start giving you shit about it all the time, then you sort of realise you have to study. That's what happened to me.
I never study. I just sit around and play TF2 and I still get straight A's (in all AP classes I might add).
I tend to download a TV show that I find entertaining (CSI:NY does the trick, even if it's complete bullshit) and put it on a flash drive. I give the flash drive to my brother and tell him to give it to me in an hour.

Also this. They threatened to remove my computer, then I sat up and tried to understand shit.

Wat?
I study and study, but I forget almost everything I've studied. Even when I answer questions or re-read everything.
I take comprehensive notes on what I'm reading.
I find it helps focus your mind, because to write notes in your own words (AKA not just copy the book), you have to actually know what the fuck you read.
Personally, I don't study, or do homework. I listen in class, and do my required work. Sure, I usually get like 50's and 60's, but I have not failed a class yet. I have a short attention span, too.
Don't study where you sleep/play, if you do this you will most likely just start goofing off and not actually study. Study in an area that will put you in a studying mindset like in a library.

Are you making a joke or just stating this out of the blue?
Look it up. There are a few sources (including the serious half of Assassin's Creed II) that suggest he may have been gay.

go online and find a file that is 60 seconds long, with a tick every second, and every 60 seconds, theres a dinging noise. Play that on your computer, it makes you realize how much time you ACTUALLY have, and it makes studying a lot easier when you realize it.
You get a good nights sleep, don't bring your phone to school, and pay very close attention. Then, you wont need to study. :eng101:
Well, i was like the lot of you. Zero studying and A*'s with ease but now, IB is mindraping me. I still fail at studying, studying with friends help (if you don't fuck around 3/4 of the time) and going on coffee trips every now and then, most importantly, payin attention in class instead of messing about.
1st Quarter i got D's -C's cause i was a fuckin lazy cunt (i did get 3 A's still tho) but this quarter they all went up A's-B's and i still didn't put any real effort into studying x.x Any tips? I pass out after 20-30 minutes of studying.
This thread just motivated me to shut off my computer and start studying.
I don't.
The grading system at the school goes from 1 to 3, my grades:
7 3's, 5 2's and one 1.

Are you in elementary school?
I have the same problem. I didn't study when i was young, the stuff came too easy. Now its harder, and i regret not studying even if i knew the stuff. I find it really hard to study :(

Maybe later.
Tell yourself why you study.
That should motivate you.
I don't and I get straight A's.
It's best to just sit down and just start studying, your mind should be occupied with what you are doing and nothing else, try not to zone out.
Loads and loads off caffeine. You'd think that a lot of caffeine would mean you'd keep getting distracted, but I ended up getting so excited about my homework I actually finished it up and started doing extra work.
The last time I went on a caffeine binge, this is what I posted on Facebook:
"Osmosis? More like COOLmosis! I love Biology so much! Why isn't everyone doing Biology?"
It's sort of sad, but in an effective way.
