The Elder Scrolls I: Arena The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (Possibly, not too sure about Oblivion)
Both Morrowind and Oblivion are resource hogs. In fact I think Skyrim runs better than Oblivion. Of course, stability is a different issue... I would second/third/however many times Civilization 4 and Warcraft 3.
The Ur-Quan Masters
I read this as the Quran Masters and thought it was a game about playing as Muslim Extremists. Anyways, If it was made before 2004, you can easily run it. There are too many to count, but look for the most famous ones. Rome: Total War makes for good strategy (Multiwinia is kind of the poor mans Total War as far as the size of the battles), Half-Life and it's sequel plus plenty of Abadonware like DOOM are classical, and you can probably get away with the earlier Elder Scrolls.
Rome:Total War Midevil 2: Total War (Empire may be fine and Napolean is pushing it) Mount and Blade: Warband Most Valve Games Men of War (Modding community is great) Company of Heroes? Arma2 (Free) runs on mine at low World of Tanks (Garbage imo but some like it) World of Warplanes (Made by the same Developers and even worse if thats possible) Battlefield 1942 Hearts of Iron Victoria II Europa Universalis (Does it have a number after?) Doom Saints Row 1&2 GTA III Fallout 1&2 I have practically the same laptop, all these work fine on mine.
