I think it's bullshit, and people do need to start bringing this up. I think it's disgusting that this is even possible, let alone happening. What bothers me more, is that there are people willing to do this job for the government. I would never take such a disgusting task.
When I come to power I'll try to stop all these wrongdoings.

I think you would be surprised to learn what sort of people work for these agencies.

Unless a innocent person is put into harm by the NSA [sp](No this isn't the NSA Finding out about your loli collection)[/sp] There shouldn't be a problem.
I have no problem with algorithms finding key words and stuff but once another human has access to my texts, phone calls, etc. is where it crosses a line. And I'd love to see an objective third party investigation into how effective NSA spying really is. Supporters talk about how it saves lives by stopping crime, but I want to see the crimes being stopped. If my life is transparent, the government can be more transparent too.

Just look at the Boston Marathon bombing. If the mass surveillance had worked, something like that would have been stopped, right? So what I think we got is either: a) Treat citizens like potential terrorists, sift through their communications because you "never know". Still suffer from attacks because this isn't goddamn Minority Report. Terrorists use less popular, other ways to communicate in private. or b) Trust your fellow human beings a bit, get attacked sometimes. Catch the terrorists you can by moral means, surveillance directed at the suspects only. Lead other societies by example, be in the right.
