grand theft auto earth
grand theft auto earth
Grand Theft Auto Galaxy.
This is a small one, but I want to steal trains again. Even if its just to crash them.
Aliens, big foot and CJ's mums ghost
More unique missions, it gets a bit boring with the whole go to do a "deal" something goes wrong and then shoot your way out.

I know its been said, but a big map like San Andreas. But i want it to be varied like san andreas was. You had las vegas, San Francisco, the ghetto, a desert, the massive woodland, stuff like that. Liberty city got boring after a while, it was all too similar.
Being able to sit down.
Something I've really wanted in GTA: Melee weapons on bikes Imagine flying down a street with the NRG 600 with a baseball bat aimed at pedestrians Also, if we can pick up objects, I want them to do something, the bricks in GTA IV are used for one mission, and outside of it they're made of styrofoam
More glitches. And swings.
Personally I would find it awesome if they would take it back to Vice City or at least the 80s, because I felt like VC had the most personality of all GTA games. You started it and you felt like you were in the 80s, because everything was just spot on. Also I'd love to see some countryside again like in SA, because who didn't love it to take a bike and do all kinda stunts off that huge mountain? Parachutes and the jetpack would be fucking great and also give it back a lot of the unseriousness that was gone in GTA4. But in general I just wish that they make it good, with lots of easter eggs and you know, the smal things that make GTA what it is.
When I played the GTA Games, I would spend alot of time just watching how the city itself runs. Even going back as far as GTA 2, I used to watch with amazement when that green shirted guy would run into the road and jack a car, and the person who got jacked would react in various ways, from shooting at his car, to running off screaming, to simply standing there in shock. Much was the same in GTA 3, when I saw a policeman chasing another guy down the street and the people in the way getting out of the way, I was impressed. I think it was either GTA 3 or 4 where you wouldn't be punished if you knocked the criminal down, infact you got a little cash bonus for assisting. In San Andreas, I would love to just 'live' for many game days on end, going out and getting food, checking out all the places, exploring the buildings, climbing up to places, doing stuff (I remember when me and my friends found out you can get into the airport without a license by parking a car next to the gate and jumping on the car roof first), and the missions were a good way to get more money to carry on dicking about. I used to love just walking around and seeing what there was to see, how different areas had different kinds of people living there, but in a way that didn't seem fake. San Andreas felt pretty damn real to me, with the gang fights, cops chasing peoplee and general LIFE going on around you. GTA 4 was a very different tale, I noticed very little difference in the people, everyone spoke the same, looked the same and even acted the same. Even when driving around poor areas I would see normal people walking around happily, and I would see poorer people in the more high class areas. GTA 4 didn't feel alive. I have never seen a police officer chasing anybody, and if you get someone to start a fight with you and lead them over to the police, they do nothing unless you defend yourself, in which case they target you. GTA 4 didn't feel alive to me, and that was what kept me coming back to the GTA games. My honest response to what I would like to see in GTA 5, is simply a more alive city, things such as: - Crimes happening by criminals other than you, said crimes should be reasonably dynamic, ranging from a simple mugging to a full scale bank heist (admittedly they would have to be rare). If you do something 'heroic', such as pushing a purse-thief over, the cops should not try to arrest you, and you should maybe be rewarded for your actions (Like in RDR, it felt good to help people out, and was interesting to see stuff going on). - More 'voices' for the citizens. It gets rather old hearing the same four or five voices throughout your trips around the city. This was one of the main things I disliked about San Andreas, although at the time that wasn't a bad thing. - More of an RPG like system, similar to that of San Andreas. I'm not too bothered about the exacts of it, but I would like a system that allows for natural progression, with the character reflecting the player's habits the most. The stat gains should be shown instantly, rather than a sudden boost (I know that in SA when your 'stamina' stat increased, your character would magically be able to run 10 paces more than before. It should be a constant gradual increase). It would be fun to see everyone's ending stats and see how different people played the game. Other characters should react to your stat changes if they haven't seen you for a while. For example if you take a break from doing missions and work out, the people you work for should comment on your build. If you are overweight and accidently knock into people on the street they should point your weight out 'Watch it, fat ass!' and things like that. - The game shouldn't try to steal Saints Row's over the top stupidness, but should have a few 'crazy' mission lines, a bit like in SA (I keep mentioning this) when you would do missions that were outright crazy, and then missions that were deadly serious. I always liked being able to really get into the storyline, but not be bored by the same stuff over and over (I swear GTA 4 was entirely the same mission but with different accents for the voices). - Mission Variety. It would be awesome to be able to do all of the exciting guns blazing stuff, but also to do some more petty theft or straight up vandalism. Being able to raid stores (either on your own or in a group, and with different weapons having different effects) alone would be great fun if done properly. I also liked how in the DS game (chinatown wars?) almost every mission was unique. - No forced racing. The worst parts for me in ANY of the GTA games were the racing missions. I don't feel any of the GTAs were really built for racing, and it was often more reliant on luck (that the other guys crashed) than skill (I could only keep the car in control at very slow speeds, so I had to just floor it and hope). - Extra 'little things' would be amazing. Things like perhaps being able to deal drugs, or running your own garage (selling the cars that you have stolen and 'cleaned' would be a fun way to keep me playing), with real purpose to them. I want things to do even after I have completed the main storyline, with reasons for doing them too. - Guns should be more disposable, and of varying quality. I would absolutely love to have a high quality rifle stored in a safehouse for those difficult storyline missions, and then a crappy AK just for raiding stores or simply being threatening. - There should be some sort of mode that allows you to 'go crazy' with no real drawbacks. No fees for dying, no loss of weapons, no impact on the storyline, no loss of achievements for using cheats. Basically like a 'DO NOT SAVE WHAT HAPPENS FROM HERE' button that allows you to go crazy without worrying about fucking your save up or losing all of your money. - There should be a noticable change in the game world as you play through it. I always like that in Saints Row as you played through the game your hideout would change and improve. GTA should implement this, if you are constantly causing crime in one specific area, it should 'go downhill' and be even more prone to random crime, but also have more of a cop presence. I would also like to turn a lovely peaceful estate into a living hell hole over a few weeks of game-time. This idea really makes me interested, if they added this into the game and it wasn't just a pathetic gimmick, I would buy the game for it alone. I want to see areas changed based on both ingame missions and general player habits. If you constantly run people over in one area, bollards should be put in to stop you driving down the sidewalk, things like that. Then, when you go to another player's world in multiplayer, you would be able to see how they do things. - There should be always be a way to prevent being 'Wanted', even if sometimes it is practically impossible. For example, if nobody sees what happens, then you should not be wanted (I've accidently run somebody over on the beach on GTA 4 and had a wanted level for it, nobody in sight. I've even beaten ONE person up who was on his own island with nobody in viewing range and had a wanted level for it). If nobody sees the crime, or is able to report it, then nothing should happen. If somebody sees something happen, they should run around the nearest corner and call the cops, who should then go to check out the crime. If you have 'gone' in that time, then you would get away with it. Perhaps have a reason to change your hairstyle and clothing (if you commit enough crimes that are reported but you are not found, then you would be looked out for). - Basically, I want more improvements to the free roaming aspect, and a little more variety in the missions (a bit like SA or Vice City). The game itself isn't to flawed, it just needs more features and attention to detail with the city.
Unique Characters. Good example: Wuzi from S.A. He was blind, and we didn't even realize it until further on in the game. Also, don't kill off characters just because it would create such a dramatic twist. Give the killing a reason, and not just mind-lessly killing characters. Another good thing would be more references from previous GTA Games. I'd like to see Tommy, Carl, Etc..., make an appearance in the game. Also, references over the radio. What if this GTA Game took place during the same time as another GTA Game? Maybe we can hear over the radio about what that character in that area in the other GTA Game did. The likeliness of a GTA Game having the same time period as another is very slim, but if it were to happen, that'd be a good addition. Building that are destroyable would also be pretty nice . Every building being accessible sounds really good, but load times would be quite long. I agree on that civilians just walking around, having no place to go, is quite ridiculous. This would back up the "Every Building is Accessible" idea. I'm tired of seeing streets of people, and find out that they're just wandering in circles. The "Wanted" System in GTA IV was great, but a bit flawed. I don't like the fact that, if you commit a crime, cops are already aware of it. I'm pretty sure Rockstar said that if a crime is committed, then you would be able to see a civilian report it by phone. I'd like to see that idea to actually be implemented with GTA V, and with the action to stop crime reporting, as well.
Being able to sit down and play animations whenever you want
A god damn menu so you don't have to waste so much time to get into a game
