Clearly you didn't.
Clearly, I did, because I'm not like that anymore. I gradually stepped out of that phase.
I agree. I'm not trying to justify bullying. I just think it's outrageous when people try to justify their psychological problems with this stupid concept that anyone exposed to that situation would be the same way. As if there was nothing they could do about it and it's totally normal to have your brain shit itself like that. If you let your life get ruined by something as simple as getting pushed around and called names, you're a mentally weak individual. It got to you because you couldn't handle it, not because it was so intense that anyone would have been broken in the same situation. So yes, bullying is wrong and yes, some people take it harder than others. However, those people that take it harder than others are the minority and have no business imposing this concept that it wasn't their fault in the slightest that they came out of it with psychological problems. It's like a kid shooting up a school after playing violent video games. Sure, he shouldn't have been exposed to those games and the parents are mostly at fault, but at the same time the kid isn't completely innocent and normal. The kid obviously had some screws loose. If you shoot up a school because you were bullied, then yeah, bullying might have been the catalyst, but the culprit behind the ordeal is you having screws loose. Screws that were loose the second you were born. Just because you appeared completely normal until you started getting bullied doesn't mean you were completely normal before you got bullied, there could have been plenty of repressed things going on in your head. Putting all of the blame on bullying, claiming it alters completely normal kids with no problems into school shooters and whatnot is outright fucking retarded.
The main reason for shooting up a school is because they feel trapped, and that killing the ones who backed them it no that corner is the only way to stop them
Clearly, I did, because I'm not like that anymore. I gradually stepped out of that phase.
Yeah, after 3 years. Not exactly swift, and not exactly ideal.
But simple to adopt, which was the point I was trying to make.
I broke a kids arm because he hit me in the face, sold my 13 year old sister weed, flirted with my girl, and picked on me for 5 years. I promised him that before i move from Texas I will break one of his bones. sure enough it was arm.
"No, you're wrong because you're the minority."
I've never disputed you for being a minority I've disputed you for making posts that are nothing more than the babbling of an armchair alpha male whose knowledge of the real world extends no further than the distance from his ass to his computer screen
you pissed of zeke. you NEVER piss of zeke.
I've called him much worse
But simple to adopt, which was the point I was trying to make.
How is it simple to adopt if it takes 3 YEARS?
you pissed of zeke. you NEVER piss of zeke.
I love it when zeke is like this, it can make a crap day all the more happy, unless of course it's directed at me, which it has been in the past.
same to me.
That seems to be the argument most of you kids use to justify yourselves. "No, you're wrong because you're the minority." When in fact, I'm not. The majority of people don't develop all kinds of mental problems from bullying. The majority of people don't get depressed and kill themselves. The majority of people handle problems like the majority of people, not by killing themselves or others. You fail to understand that the people who get all kinds of psychological problems from trivial shit like bullying are the minority. If anyone thinks too highly of themselves, it's kids that attempt to justify their inability to handle life by saying they've had it harder than anyone else.
Holy fucking shit are you retarded. All of you who are handling it better, good for you. UNforuntunatly there are others who can't and probably won't. So instead of telling them to suck it, cause you're actually making worse you douche nozzle, just shut the fuck up and don't speak up at all. OR HEY WAIT! WHY DON'T YOU DEFEND THEM! If you were able to defend yourself SOOOO WELL why don't you help them? Or because the way people handle they become a part of the douches bullying the weaker ones :colbert: Also this, over chest thumping frat boy confidence isn't helping your case one fucking bit :v:

Concept of psychological 'weakness' are absurd and outdated. Yes, you'd consider many war veterans to be strong, until they flip out and stab their Vietnamese neighbor. There are a range of responses to any stimuli, and for the most part, they're uncontrolled.
I love it when zeke is like this, it can make a crap day all the more happy, unless of course it's directed at me, which it has been in the past.
my only regret is making it not all fit on one line in 1680x1050 when text butts up against the right margin it's even more grating and uncomfortable to read

It's funny how people bash bullies for insulting people for apparently no reason, then turn around and insult people for no reason. What did that sentence accomplish for you? It sure as hell didn't present an argument or dispute what I said in any logical way. It's just you spouting complete bullshit for no other reason than to fish for zings and/or hope that you "burn" me hard enough to make me stop telling things how they are. But if thinking of clever insults or whatever helps you sleep at night, good for you. I have never been bullied but I am very empathetic for people who have. People who try to make the argument that bullying is natural and therefore healthy or acceptable in any manner are only showing how immature they are.
Comparing the horrors of war to bullying. Are you fucking kidding me.
If you can't apply your principle to the extremes, then your conceptualization is unjustifiable.

I'm not telling people who can't handle trivial shit like bullying to suck it, I'm telling them to focus on the real problems (mental problems) instead of shifting blame on to bullies or whatever. It's pretty funny how being confident supposedly isn't helping my case. As if confidence is abnormal or something. What a sad world we live in when confidence is so rare that people are insulted for having it.

I have no respect for people who look in a mirror every day and compliment themselves on only the positive thing about them. Too much confidence is a bad thing.
If you can't apply your principle to the extremes, then your conceptualization is unjustifiable.
Do you understand how stupid this sentence is? There's exceptions to almost every rule. Just because those exceptions exist does not mean that the rule is false. So if I said "If you get shot in the head, you're going to die," then my concept isn't justified because a select few people have been shot in the head and lived? Yes, even the most mentally sound person could be broken under intense trauma, war qualifies as intense trauma. Getting bullied, no matter how bad it may seem, is nowhere near as bad as being exposed to non-stop death and destruction for an extended period of time.
If you dress like a douchebag you should expect people to get a bad first impression and work to fix that instead of bullying them.
This is exactly what he's on about, you're saying that any way of dressing is wrong? He's none nothing wrong to you so far except dress how he choses.

But is breaking down due to trauma something which should be assigned a value judgment of "well fuck off, you're just weak, deal with your own problems" or should we actively attempt to fix those problems?
Yes, even the most mentally sound person could be broken under intense trauma, war qualifies as intense trauma. Trivializing and comparing other people's problems is stupid.
I have no respect for people who look in a mirror every day and compliment themselves on everything positive about themselves. Too much confidence is a bad thing.
How is it bad, confidence makes you look better to everyone, women, employers and in return the bettering of your social life and work life etc makes you feel even better about yourself The only type of bullying I'll stand up to (as if I see it happen to someone else) is if they've got some mental condition or physical disabilty, something they can't change so don't deserve to be ripped about if it causes them to act differently. Occasionally I'll stand up for other people if I think they've got the potential to get out of the 'weak' cycle else they need to do it themselves.
How is it bad, confidence makes you look better to everyone, women, employers and in return the bettering of your social life and work life etc makes you feel even better about yourself
Over-confidence is a narcissistic and very off-putting quality to me. I cannot stand people who boast about themselves or constantly give off an air of self-importance.
