wasn't ever old enough without a post for anything to be considered a bump
-Snip- repost meant to edit my old one.
Do this whenever someone tries to bully you:
Beat the shit out of him. Worked for me.

Horrid advice.
Ban Facepunch, close user, delete thread.
In HPE we have to do Cyber Bullying and Phone Bullying shit.
I dont know any fucking person who has mental problems because of a prank call.

I tried that once, I later got ganged and the shit beaten out of me.
Well, I dunno, after I kicked his ass he never looked at me. Also his friends did nothing.
It obviously depends who you're talking about.
Do this whenever someone tries to bully you:

That really does depend on the bully and can have 4 outcomes:
1. He's actually a weedy little shit and you beat the crap out of him. Bullying stops
2. He's as tough as he acts, but the confrontation is more than he can be bothered to deal with. Bullying stops
3. He's tougher than he acts and beats the shit out of you. Bullying continues the same or worse than before.
4. He is in fact an undiagnosed psychopath. He stabs you and pisses on your corpse. Bullying stops.
It can have a good outcome, or not so good.
Edit:
Just thought of another outcome:
You beat the crap out of him, but he has parents and/or big brother who believes every word he says. You are now in serious trouble of one kind or another. Basically he can do what he likes to you, but you'll get into trouble if you fight back. You're pretty much screwed.
I read this news article with a child saying he was being bullied by being left out, personally I think that is fucking stupid and any school or establishment that classifies this as bullying is retarded.
If someone doesn't want to hang around with you it means they don't like you, it isn't fucking bullying - there is either something wrong with you or they plain don't like you. Hang around with other people.
(not directed at anyone.)
Don't tell me I needed to be bullied. Don't EVER tell me it's vital to me.
Because of bullies, after 3 years, I've got no confidence left at all. I feel like shit when I see myself in the mirror and I hate speaking out in a group that's not my two best friends. When they say bullying leaves emotional scars, they aren't fucking kidding.
Although, I too am sick of the anti-bullying shit they force down our throats every 2-4 weeks in school assembly. It's kind of like global warming - I cared until the 10th powerpoint presentation. The only thing worse is 'cyber'-bullying crap. Am I the only one who gets mad at the word 'cyber' being used EVERYWHERE by adults?
Bullying is just wrong! Why the fuck would you want to make someone else's life shit for the sake of entertaining yourself and other people that find it funny to watch...

Agreed, theres this one very, fucking creepy kid and acts quite... like a 7 year old and no one actually likes him, and teacher says "You MUST hang around with this kid"
So rather then stand up for your self, you changed yourself in order to please the douche-bags making fun of you? Damn you sure are a smart strong willed person./sarcasm
Who cares, in the end he stopped getting bullied and that's what it's about.
If you get bullied it's usually, though far from always, about something you have and can change. If this is the case and you hate getting bullied, changing works. There's not much more you can do against bullies, you can talk to teachers and parents all you want but it almost never works and most of the time they (the bullies) will hate you even more for it.
What do you want to do by standing up? Shout "stop!" or something?
Well how about getting a godamn grip?
Never heard that before...
:sigh:
I blame the parents
If they are always smothering their kids, saying how 'special' and 'perfect' they are, when they do get called a douche its going to be a massive shock to the system
First sentence is right
But you're blaming the wrong parents
Blame the ones that neglect their kids and make bullies

Huh, so when I got bullied 6 years ago for being myself with friends, I should have just changed right? They just didn't like how I acted and instead should have changed? What a completely fucking terrible advice. I ignored the bullies and when they did even more, I talked to my parents, they called the bullies and gave them a scolding so they never did anything again. Then the school found out and they got even more shit.
I won and I am still myself.

Wow, this thread's still going?
If you're getting bullied for being gay, stop being gay :downs:
I think bullying should be treated as a more serious crime, but I don't think all the anti-bullying shit it good.
I also don't think videos like this ought to be made.

People shouldn't have to change, they should be able to be themselves free of persecution.
Changing self = we don't like what you like, so start liking what we like or we will bully you
Anybody who claims that the people that are being bullied are at fault and must therefore "change" are idiots. It's parallel with arguments that claim that people get robbed because they didn't lock their house enough; women get raped because they dressed in a certain way etc..
nobody says the bullied are at fault, and those arguments are absolutely unrelated to this discussion.

From experience I know that teacher and parents won't stop bullying, probably because there's not much they can do about it. If the bullies get punished for it, they'll say it's because of you and will only make things worse for you.
I don't know how old you were 6 years ago, but the reason they stopped was probably because they didn't really bully you so bad, or maybe they realized they were being stupid, but thats rarely the case.
