We did see Cole Brutally killed with his helmet off in the kamino attack though, lightsaber right through his chest.
They've shown people get impaled too, no blood, and they were Alien. I don't think we've seen any Human brutal deaths not counting Clones, since when they die like that they're wearing their helmets, so it de-humanizes' them.
You're forgetting the shitload of time where someone has their neck snapped.
So I've started to watch this show. I'm actually enjoying it, I know it's gonna get its ups and downs at times (Jar-Jar mostly), but I've heard it gets better in the third season when the bounty hunters start to show up.
Maybe i've been DE-sentizied from the violence that I forget some of the 'brutal' stuff.
I personally love what they did with Darth Maul. I mean, yeah it's a bit of a slap in the face as far as keeping dead characters dead, but still. The voice acting and the idea behind it is pretty cool. As for clones, the Prime Minister might have just said that as a marketing technique. It wouldn't have sounded too good to say, "Well, they are mostly loyal." The show has been great so far and I can't wait to see this coming season. Fuck Ahsoka.

i used to watch this because it was on before adult swim. while it got really annoying with how 'kiddy' it was i must say it was a guilty pleasure.

i think i remember this. that doesn't change the fact that it's made for the 12-15 year old audience.
This series provides an excellent Star Wars experience for all ages
i think i remember this. that doesn't change the fact that it's made for the 12-15 year old audience.
It's the target audience really, but it also hits home with older fans of Star Wars and Lore nuts. I mean when you start referencing the Mandalorian Wars,KOTOR,Republic Commando, and so forth it's gonna draw people forth. of all ages granted you're a star woid
Just saw this and thought I should post it. It was kinda heartwarming to me.
so i'm almost done with the first season. this is pretty good. jar-jar has been in only two episodes, and the cheesy kid shit isn't as obvious as i thought it was, the most would be the battle droids (that for some reason i still laugh every now and then at how dumb they obviously are).
i agree. but it is a kid's show and the droids are meant to be stupid. i mean the clones are actual human beings with brains and sentience and problem solving. the droids are programmed hardware. an army of super clones>an army of battle droids
the VAs for the SBDs are much better than the shit they used in ROTS.
I like the actors for most of the jedi that hadnt spoken before too, plo Koon,Shaak Ti etc.
I like the actors for most of the jedi that hadnt spoken before too, plo Koon,Shaak Ti etc.
Fun fact: Jennifer Hale voices Alaya Secura
Fun fact: Jennifer Hale voices Alaya Secura
I didnt even realise that with the accent shes using.
I didnt even realise that with the accent shes using.
It's her literally doing Bastila's voice but instead of a refined British tone it's a French accent.
the one thing i never understood is when someone gets impaled by a lightsaber.... how come the lightsaber holds steady in their body as if it were a blade? i'd imagine it would be bobbing all around the place. in fact i hate seeing anyone with a lightsaber perform a successful stab and pull straight out. if you have a fucking laser beam inside of someone you could swing it left or right when its inside of them and tear them in half...
I'm gonna say probably my favorite episode of the whole season will be the one with the Jedi Funeral. I mean it's probably implying Ashoka died regardless of anyone's feelings toward the annoying brat it's gonna have some ~d33p~ feels to it.

I was watching a Analysis video for the Season 5 trailer on IGN, and they pointed out something I can't believe I missed. They go into the lower levels of Coruscant, and it looks similar to shots from Star Wars 1313 Footage http://ca.ign.com/videos/2012/08/31/clone-wars-season-5-trailer-2-rewind-theater Also at the end of the latest Star Wars 1313 trailer you can see a ship of the same class as Anakin and Asoka's ship from Clone Wars.
Anyone remember the old clone wars series back in like 04? I have all the episodes on Itunes but I fucking hated how every episode was like 3 fucking minutes Wow so either I make 2 hot pockets or watch another episode of the Clone Wars

Reminder the new Season starts tomorrow, or if you're Canadian, you missed it. Aired at 8:30 EST on Teletoon today. Canadians get the new episodes a day before the US. I missed it, I'll have to watch it some other time.
I'll defo be watching it on Sunday myself, Season 4 was by far the best so far in my opinion and I've been waiting since last december for next season
Well they just cut off a guy's arm and a guy's leg just blew open, and this is a Saturday morning show on Cartoon Network. Damn this is awesome.
You forgot a dead jedi.
