Someone got stabbed through the back, someone else got impaled by Zaberak head spikes. Yep. Diffidently a Saturday morning Cartoon.
Dammit my schedule keeps me from watching Saturday morning stuff. Where could I watch this online.
Finally finished season 4. I really do quite like Ventress now. Hope she becomes some sort of anti-hero
Finally finished season 4. I really do quite like Ventress now. Hope she becomes some sort of anti-hero
From what I've seen in the season 5 trailers, she still more of an evil person than good.
"Clone wars" (not "the clone wars") was way better than this show, it was even better than the newer star wars movies for christ sake.
"Clone wars" (not "the clone wars") was way better than this show, it was even better than the newer star wars movies for christ sake.
Honestly all that did was just bridge the gap of what happened between that time.
Wookie Jedi Youngling...just so adorable
Doesn't this look fun.
Just finished watching it, great episode. [editline]17th November 2012[/editline] Some people have said Lucas doesn't care about the EU.. but look at clone wars, bunch of EU references, hell he signed off on Revan from KOTOR appearing on the show, but in the end the scene got cut. Coruscant, Capital of the Galaxy, was invented by Timothy Zahn in Heir to the Empire.
Honestly all that did was just bridge the gap of what happened between that time.
To be fair was was still awesome series, Grievous being akin to a star wars terminator, Dirge or whatever that bounty hunters name was that turned into gigantic tentacle monster and lets not forget Mace Windu losing his saber and punching the shit out of every droid before jumping down next to a farmboy and given free shit
Began watching the show now. I remember the first 2D series and was confused with them at first.

The trailer for S5 in the OP didn't really look like one but I don't know.

Overall it's less a kids show and more of a gritty Star Wars show, considering there aren't many kiddy episodes so to say and generally you're going to see more people die in some pretty brutal ways other than lightsaber and blaster. Some examples are when a clone trooper gets sliced in half by a vent, people committing suicide by jumping, Grievous snapping someone's neck, etc. And Dave Filoni one the writers and producers once said this. "If we make an interesting character that everyone likes, we're gonna kill them." Or something exactly like that.

I know the general story obviously. I'd prefer to skip some of the beginning if it's slow or childish or something. edit: Is there somewhere I can watch it in non-shit quality?

And the best possible place I can say is getting season 1-4 on TPB unless you want to watch some lowish quality episodes.

It's pretty decent so far, but I hate Anakin's padawan.
It's pretty decent so far, but I hate Anakin's padawan.
So does 98% of anyone else who watches this, the other 2% are the guys who like drawing the Rule 34.
So I'm finally catching up on this show holy fuck bounty hunter ventress holy fuck darth maul
I just watched Storm Over Ryloth in S1 and god damn, I'm hooked.
So Padame's voice actress played Mission Vao in KOTOR1, Vette in SWTOR and Leia in Force Unleashed 1&2 plus the up coming Star Wars Detour series. She is pretty attractive too http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0845941/
I knew I heard something familiar about her voice in TCW.
I just found out that the actor who voices Palpatine passed away last January at 77. He completed most of his lines for Season 5 but a replacement is still unknown
the only person from the films to reprise their roles in the show is matthew wood, who voices grievous.
Also the Droids I believe. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Although some of the Movies actors voiced them in the Clone Wars movie.
