I'm actually really mad that Ringo hasn't been knighted/he doesn't receive the recognition he deserves. He truly is an amazing musician.

Yeah but thinking laterally, he didn't have a big effect on the music insustry.
Ringo was a cymbal of great popular music back in the day.

Woo finally a release date! Been waiting forever for this.
I am angry that Paul went to Europe halfway through his tour instead of going to the Southern states. >:(
No fair.
I couldn't be happier that he decided to go to Europe, but it sucks that you didn't get a chance to see him.
I just want to see him before it's too late. D:
I heard that he's been to either Austin or here in San Antonio before but not in a long while. So I want him to come back.

Ringo's tour is definitely going to be in America this year and he usually goes to the south.
Go see him.
I want to see him too and I will cry
There is nothing that can stop me from going this year. His concerts are the greatest.
Paul visits my town every now and then when he's in the south since one of his good friends lives here.
The same guy grooms my dog :v:
Rest in peace, John.

I really love The Beatles Xmas songs. They're currently playing Xmas music at my High School, going to try to get them to play some of these.
I'm trying to get Ringo's Christmas album.
I Want To Be Santa Clause :D

I was just about to stop watching that video when suddenly he was in his Beatle suit. For some reason seeing George acknowledge his Beatle days (considering how much he hated them) made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Okay, so I just got back from Stockholm and from Paul McCartneys concert and I have to tell you all, it was so amazing I can't even begin to explain. The entire Ericson Globe was full of people, barely any seats left and when he got inside, it was like they built the tension in there by filling it with smoke but I realize that it was only to make the lighting effects look nice. But when he got on stage, holy shit I think the roof lifted for a second, there was a huge shockwave of screams and applauds for almost ten seconds and then ear numbing applauds for at least two minutes and then he started with magical mystery tour.
I can't really recall the exact list of songs but he did half "A day in the life" and when he got to the third verse he went on to "give peace a chance" and had the crowd sing it for about 5 minutes. He also did live and let die which featured loads of fireworks and fire balls and a big boom at the end, you could also feel the heatwave of that last one, and Paul got up from his piano chair and just picked his ears.
He also did paperback writer, he changed his guitar, went up to the microphone and said "reason I changed guitar was because, this one is the one I used to record the original" which was followed with short applauds and screams because he instantly started playing "Paperback writer".
He also did "Beautiful boy" and before he started he said "I wrote this next song for a dear friend of mine, John, give it up for John" and then applauds and screams for three minutes "you know how you want to say something to someone and you think, I'll say it later, when John got shot I never got to say it to him and so this song is like a conversation I never had with him" and when he finished he said "so next time you want to tell someone something, do it, before it's to late"
I can go on about what happened at the concert but I feel no one is going to read it.
It was the best, if you ever get the chance to go see him, do, I will totally go if he comes to Sweden again.
This was the best night of my life, I can die happy now.
I hate you.

Wow.
Sounds like he's been doing the same show since 2005 when I saw him :v:
But probably with a few of his newer songs thrown in I bet.
if he did "ram on" then i truly hate you.
He didn't, but I can imagine he doing the same thing for a couple of years.
We did however manage to scream him back for encore three times until he said "Jag måste dra, vi ses" translating to "I have to go, see you".
Was the best, also he was talking about reading signs during concerts and there was this sign saying "Marry us Paul" and he says "It's too late, I've done it" and he points to his ring finger and after that he noticed that it was a dude and he says in a surprised voice "It's a guy, wait, I understand, it's okay" and the hole arena laughs.
I wish I could have been there.
Considering im only like 1 hour away by car :smith:
Ringo didn't get knighted because he's just a drummer. No offence because he's awesome, but usually "symbols" of great popular music back in the day get knighted.
Tom Jones, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Cliff Richard and even George Martin.
Makes sense really.
Actually Ringo DID get offered to be knighted, but he turned it down because he wanted a higher position according to him (Jokingly of course.)
Yeah Paul hasn't changed his show much, but it's always going to be fucking stellar. My arena he played in is small and I honestly though there wouldn't be fireworks in Live and Let Die. But then he gets to the verse: "So Live and Let Die..." and about five seconds of silence before the fireworks exploded everywhere it was amazing. There was not a single person who wasn't screaming. There was an old married couple sitting next to my mother and I and the look on their faces was priceless.
When Paul was talking about John, with the steady "Give Peace a Chaaaance" in the background, this lady from somewhere in the middle of the audience screams so loud and clear everyone could hear it: "WE LOVE YOU JOHN!" Paul's face lit up.
Similar thing happened, when Paul was talking about something I can't remember right now, this guy screams "I LOVE YOU PAUL" so the entire arena could hear it, mind you that it's a big arena and Paul responds instantly with one of his voices that sounds raw "I LOVE YOU TO MAN"
He also did some songs that he said he hadn't performed in Sweden, like "Come and get it" and another song that I can't remember
