I have an original Let It Be, didn't know there was a box set.

Then no, it's not the original. I'm talking about "first pressing"

Comes with a massive booklet about the movie.
I need a good, cheap turntable.

It could be an American original, the box was only sold in the UK iirc.

Let me check my record inventory.
AR 34001 is the catalog number on my copy.
From Google:
Let It Be, Apple, AR-34001, May 18, 1970, stereo only. First presing. Cardboard gatefold sleeve with red Apple logo on back. Second label variation. Red Apple label with “Mfd. By Apple Recording” on full slice side & with “P.D. arr. Lennon; McCartney; Harrison; Starkey” credits for “Maggie Mae” on the Side 1.

What did you use to check the catalog number?
Google
Oh, I'm trying to find out what pressings my records are but I can't find a reliable source.

I've got a second pressing.
Apple PCS 7096
Still 1970 pressing, but the box is what I want :smug:

My uncle gave me a booke to look up the catalog numbers, I don't think it gives you what pressing is it though.
Check the date and serial numbers and stuff. Sometimes catalogues are the best option for prices.

Thats what my uncle told me, he apparently has some collector vinyls.

My "Meet the Beatles" catalogue no. is ST 2047, my "Yesterday and Today" catalog no. is ST 2553, and my "Ringo" catalog no. is SWAL 3413.
Is there any other info I'd need?

With Beatles collectors, they pay a shitload of attention to detail...
for example, the position of where the serial number of placed, which corner does the company name appear... all that stuff.
I wouldn't worry too much unless you want to get multiple pressings.

I just want to know what pressing they are.
I think the only Beatles Re-Issue I have is my copy of Abbey Road.
I mthink my Meet the Beatles is an original sleeve but a record from 1971. :v:

None of mine are on there. :v:
My favorite Beatles 45 I have is "Let It Be/You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)"
Its also my only Beatles 45...
The Capitol Records logo on mt MTB and YaT are both the one they used up until 1969. I think my YaT might be an original.

My Ringo is an original! :buddy:
Stick with EMI or Apple...

Got 3 Mccartney solo albums, all on the apple label. And they all cost less than £5.
I guarantee you'll struggle to get cheap ones :buddy:
The store I go to had a sale a while back, got Let It Be for $20.
It wasn't on sale.
:smug:
I need to get some America Beatle LPs though... have none. :saddowns:
I would send you a copy of Beatles '65, I've seen tons, but Sending mail is expensive.
