The Beatles v2: King Ringo and the Time-Rape Dilemma

I know the clothing store Urban Outfitters carries vinyls. None original, of course. But I did manage to see Imagine there. It was hella expensive though. $40.
One of my best friends got The White album on vinyl for $20 I think.
I could probably get it for cheaper out in the city, but I'm far to lazy to take the ferry out there (I live on Staten Island), and I know the owner of this place, maybe he can even get me it cheaper.

I can't even afford a meal at a restaurant.
I need a way to make some cash so I can go get more vinyls. Finding a job around here is hell.
What happened to the Dergons thing?
No one is buying.
Well, guess I should start working again with Amazon... Never ending quizzes here I come!

Also there's a record store near where I live that has a quite a few originals for not completely insane prices.

Amazon? Quizzes? Enlighten me.
Also, 420 posts :v:
Mechanical Turk, take quizzes and write short summaries of products for Amazon credit. As far as I know they stopped taking apps last year.

Now I'm just plain excited :buddy:
I applied at Half Price Books a while back. No call back. There's no other stores that sell records around here.

:smug:
That's a shit load of yellow.
Jesus christ.
I would love to own a place like that. Or even work at one. Would be amazing.
Could meet a lot of cool people in a place like that, and the occasional weirdo.
Sadly, there's only 3 or 4 record stores here, and most of them are overpriced, have a bad selection, or are just too far for me to get to.
My city's music scene is pretty terrible. But hopefully, I'll change that.
One of these days.
There's only one record store in my area as far as I'm aware.
I want to work there so bad, I need a summer job.

That's better then having none where I live.
Well, I do have one, but its out of reach.
On a separate note, I am very happy my Mom kept all her Beatles Records. 'Tis a shame a fair amount were lost when my Basement flooded way back when. :C

I asked my Mom if she ever owned any Beatles records. Her response:
"Me and your Uncle used to take your Aunt's records (mind you she's the Aunt with the signed album) and draw mustaches on the bands."
Now to be fair, she doesn't recall doing that to any Beatles records, but still, I cringed.
The signed album is alright though, so it's OK.

I'm more mad at the same Aunt. I was loking through her records and saw her first pressing Help! record. I took out the record.
[sp]I found a copy of "Alvin and the Chipmunks Sing the Beatles" in the sleeve.[/sp]:gonk:

You have my sympathy.

Ow. You have my sympathy.
I want to snag a job at an FYE at a Mall some ways from here. FYE is like, the only good music store 'round these parts, except for one in Charlotte. It's called Manifest (it used to be a huge fucking record store but now it's the old record store in the ghetto) They still carry dickloads of vinyls and they even have a few turntables left, but CDs are now pretty much king. However, when I went to Manifest they had some beat up looking Beatles albums and a beat-up Imagine so I'm assuming that either they're pretty old or they're relatively new and they were taken care of poorly. :sigh: Probably the latter.
The FYEs around here are all closing for some reason.

I have a copy of Alvin and the Chipmunks Sing the Beatles, I hate that thing.
Still deciding how to get rid of it.

When I lived in California they all closed about 2 years ago, but they're still around here in Georgia.
Listened to some White Album today, Martha My Dear is really nice.
