I say, the bass at my friends place works quite well too.
My bass is perfect in every way. Also The Beatles helped me survive 5 hour car rides this week.
I got this awesome poster from FYE today. It's this 40's-esque showgirl style poster and says "LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS! GRAND BALLROOM!" and has a girl falling downwards with diamonds all around ehre. It's really cool looking. When I get it put up I'll take a picture of it.
I can't get anymore posters cause I dont have any room...at my moms.
I need to bring more to my dads.
I was really lucky today, found a With the beatles vinyl on a Swedish auction site and I won it for the starting bid 200 SEK, about $ 32 which I think is a good price. It was a stereo record though but what can you do?

Take a shot of it for us then :3:
A stereo record is the main format for records to be pressed at. Don't worry.
I'll take some pictures of all my vinyls next week, I don't have them at my fathers house.
The guitar in all tracks on Revolver!

I love the guitar in Eleanor Rigby.
Been a while since I got my All Things Must Pass box out. Tomorrow I shall listen to it once again :3:
I'm thinking about buying "Collaborations" with Ravi and George. I want to start meditation to help get rid of my constant aches and pains all over my body as well as my mind. I might as well try it, I haven't got anything else to do.

Haven't listened to it yet. But try Shankar's Three Ragas album. Some superb stuff there, undeniably inspiring to George.

Also, I really wish a longer recording of this existed:

It was part of some TV special, and this is all that was shown of the cover.
Finished Beatles Rock Band 18 hours ago. The story mode, I mean. Very fun.
Now if only I was made of money, I could get the DLC songs. Seriously, ~$2.10 (rough estimate, most likely way off) for each song?
I just came back from the mersey beatles concert, they were better than I was expecting.
Is Beatles Rock Band actually worth it?
I used to play a lot of RB1 and RB2, but I haven't touched it in years now because I'm bored of it.
Well it's only songs from the beatles, and I think it's good if you'd like to sing as well. It's so much fun to sing and play at the same time even if you are just singing on easy/medium difficulty.

I got it for $5, so absolutely. If you still have your old equipment, it's worth picking up.
Stoped by my dream of a record store, they have about 9 copies Beatles '65 and 3 of The Blue Album.
I also got Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, for $10.
Man I love that place.

Anyway, can you guys tell me what kind of records are better and/or more valuable?

Mono originals.
Or The White Album.

If you're talking about packaging, I think Sgt Peppers is awesome to own on vinyl.
I was talking overall, but okay, thanks

Don't worry much about Beatle valuing, it's better to think about owning them. They sold a billion records, remember that :smug:
I don't really care about its value to be honest, I'd rather have a better sounding record than a valuable one.
Just a poor choice of words there.
I personally prefer the original apple stereo masters, over newly pressed vinyls. But that's just me...
I wanted my first Abbey Road to be the cheapest playable earliest copy of it. It's not worth much but I love the sound of it.
They still make vinyls? I thought they stopped with that when they started making CDs.

Dude, it's still big business. New vinyls are being pressed more and more.
They will never just "stop" pressing vinyl. That won't happen.
However, I do reckon CDs will be obselete. Vinyls will be around for a long time though.
So, yesterday my parents called me in to show me something. My dad had unearthed one of his record collections, this one being "The Beatles Collection" a perfect blue box set, each Beatles' signature written on the front of the box. Upon opening it, there was all of the Beatles' albums on vinyl and one that came with The Collection called "Rarities" which is basically the songs that they added to Past Masters. Fuckin' awesome weekend.

That is an amazing thing to have. Cherish that son of a gun. :v:
Just finished listening to all the albums and singles in chronological order.
Took me about 1 and a half weeks, with an album and a little bit per day.
