How is that defensive? Telling you I don't care if you believe me or not? It's not like it matters anyway. I've never seen that C&H before, maybe John (the friend) did. It's not like it matters anyway.
Let's put this behind us and be friends again guys all you need is love.
:sax:
I love Beatles and all but as a live band they sucked ass. Just thought I'd air this out in here.
Probably because you could never hear them play. Ever.
Yeah, because of all the crazy fan girls and shitty equipment back in the days. I loved the live footage from Japan where Paul had to adjust the mic all the time. Matter of fact, I'll just link the song here.
Have you seen them live? If not then you can't really say that.
I doubt anyone in this thread seen them live in person. I'm just going by the footage I've seen and I don't think it'd be any better being there next to some fan girl screaming her lungs out. However, on that one concert where the audience is fairly quiet (that's the japan gig), it's fairly obvious that they aren't as tight as they are in studio (and I love George waving to fans to cover up their shaky vocal harmonies).

i think they were fine live
I think they did a very good job, you try singing at the top of your lungs for over thirty minutes.
I am certain that all Beatles studio albums have sold at least a million copies in some way or another. Therefore not obscure. Beatles For Sale is a great album.
I meant more along the lines of obscure as in barely-remembered-among-non-diehard-fans.
Dammit. I can't play Beatles Rock Band anymore. Well, I can, but only vocals. And I'm not going to do vocals. Unless I'm alone for a while. Whose idea was it to make the guitar and drums require that little PS/2 (or similar) connector to be converted to USB with a little wire? Why not just make it USB in the first place? I lost my second one. Don't even know how, because I never unplug it. Does anyone know where I can buy the little conversion cables? Or at least, the name of the connection that gets converted into USB by it?
Does anyone know what type of plug the Rock Band controllers use? The thing that plugs into the much smaller cable that outputs USB? I don't want to buy more controllers, because the ones I have now work fine, but I do want to continue playing.

You won't be able to buy a third party cable that has that end iirc.
Roy Orbison's birthday today

Listen to some Beatles?
fine but it feels weird
So I got a music box that plays Yellow Submarine. Its sweet. My only thing to remember this trip by.
Found a copy of Dark Horse in my dad's collection of vinyls. It was nice listening to a record player for once.

I have to say as an Album, I think Revolver is the best...the mix of the last remnants of their bubble gum sparkle pop Rickenbacker / Vox Amp sound with hints of the first touches of the British psychedelic rock era...very trippy record and innovative record for the time. The whole album has loads of texture and some amazing bouncy bass with songs like I'm Only Sleeping and then something like Taxman which is a song that just instantly hooks you.
I know I were supposed to post this a few weeks ago but I forgot so I'll do it now. My The Beatles collection, although some posters is at my fathers house and I didn't take any pictures of my t-shirts. Here are all my stuff at my mothers house, the records are ordered which I got first, starting from the top are the newest ones.
