:woop:
I have originals of both. Can't wait for that.
I've only listened to McCartney II out of those two, and I only really like a couple of tracks (Maybe I'm Amazed and Teddy Boy). Ram is probably the best solo Paul album I've listened to.
He needs to hurry up and re-release Ram. :colbert:
I prefer Band on the Run to Ram actually.
Band on the Run is good. Ram is a lot more honed in and personal than that.
I would say Ram is on par with some Beatles stuff, imo.
Hmm. Local tribute to John Lennon concert.
Should I go?

Because on the same time. I have another concert to attend. :v:
I can always ditch this one for the John Lennon's.
aw yeh Beatles tribute band playing down the street Saturday.
Chaos And Creation In The Backyard is another Paul album I really like. Just learnt to play Jenny Wren (not exactly how Paul played it, a sort of simplified version I've made myself from looking at the chords) on guitar.
Memory Almost Full isn't too great. A couple of songs I like on it, though.

Yes! I saw they finally gave a release date when I logged on to Facebook this morning. I was so excited.
I listen to The Beatles everyday and I absolutely love them. :keke:
Like today, I took 5 minutes to sit down, relax, and listen (through headphones) to "With a little help from my friends". Bliss.
I saw beatlejuice just a few months before the lead singer committed suicide.
They were a really good coverband.

I approve.
Just ordered my Beatles '65 vinyl.
Excited. :h:
Awesome.
By any remote chance, does anybody have the entirety of Nikki Giovanni's poem "This is not for John Lennon (and this is not a poem)"? Google isn't helping, and if I don't get it, I'll have to hunt for a book with it in it by Friday. Which I'd rather not do.
Hi guys I enjoy The Beatles.

I hope we can get along.
Pre-Beatles stuff is awesome. :downs:

This is one of my favorite Lennon albums, tbh. It's great.

I first read that as "Johnny Lennon"
Is he supposed to be a Greaser?
I think he was a little bit in the late 50's
The album was made in 75, iirc.
But before he was in the Beatles, Lennon was a wanna-be Teddy, which I guess is kind of like a Greaser.
Also that album is pretty much all covers of 50s songs. But he does them well.
Johnny Lennon it is
