The solo stuff is easy to find originals. That's the good thing.
Yep, that's true.
Checkin my vinyls right now.

I have no idea what that is.
But it has Ringo.

It's basically the biggest "mature" music program in the UK.
George Harrison was once on there too :v:
Loads of great people.
I just got all of these records from my Granddad:
The Beatles - Please Please Me
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Beatles - The Beatles (White Album)
The Beatles - Abbey Road
The Beatles - Let It Be
The Beatles - Greatest Hits Vol. 1
The Beatles - 1962-1966
The Beatles - The Essential Beatles
The Beatles - Rock 'n' Roll Music
And I just bought Magical Mystery Tour on Ebay.

And Paul was on it recently, but he only did 2 Wings songs- not that I'm complaining.
Am I the only one who's fine with just having the remastered CDs in stereo (and before you complain, it's not like I can't just make them mono if I want to)?

Apparently there was a mono version of Ram. But only exists in Bootleg form. :smith:
Dont know if its been posted.
Eleanor Rigby 45 year birthday few days ago :v:
I'm still waitin' on my newest vinyl. I'm not entirely sure if it'll be an original or not, but I hope so.
Which of my vinyls should I show-case? I always choose a different one to put in front of the rest of them every few weeks.

those are the ones I have
I have no Ringo or John LPs yet.
Have crapload of Harrison ones, and 4 McCartney albums.
I don't have any John ones either. I had the opportunity to get a Double Fantasy one, but I chose McCartney over that.
I do like 80s McCartney actually. Some good stuff there, Pipes of Peace is a good album.

Couldn't you just convert the songs into mono? Can't be that hard.

It's not that simple... they blend the sounds properly and make it a better experience.
You think the Beatles Mono pressings were that easy to do?
Some of the unreleased tracks on the Anthologies are amazing. I wonder why some of them were never released.
I listened to Yesterday while riding my bike, gave me chills.
Like it always does.
I watched the Beatles Anthology the documentary a couple of days ago. It was really good.
Anthology is a great series.

Oh. Well, if I'm honest, I kinda prefer the stereo, at the very least for the reason of 'Ooh, vocals and bass... drums and guitar... Vocals, drums, vocals, drums, wheeeee!' Because I'm completely fascinated by stereo for some odd reason.

You should listen to the Beatles in Mono, and then Stereo back to back. I didn't think much of it when I was told, but when I actually listened I was amazed.
The Mono version is much more... fuller? I can't really think of a word to describe it, but you can hear a lot more in the Mono version, a good example is in Sgt. Pepper's (reprise) at the end you can very clearly hear vocals that are not present in the stereo. And in A Day in the Life when the orchestra builds up you can actually hear the individual instruments and the man counting "1...2...3" It doesn't just sound fuzzy and muddled together.
Some mono versions are better than stereos. Not all though.
Yellow Submarine in stereo is banging.
