Please tell me you went there, saw him play, cried out with joy and then told him to come to sweden.
i did, except telling him to go to sweden :( if i had talked to him i would've been one happy man for the rest of my life.
Paul is coming to Vegas next month. He'll be about thirty minutes away from where my uncle lives. I'm jealous as fuck.
Paul is coming to Vegas next month. He'll be about thirty minutes away from where my uncle lives. I'm jealous as fuck.
The Beatles were only in St. Louis once. And I don't know if Paul or Ringo will ever come here.
I think falling is way way ahead of it's time. I'm not saying it's a perfect masterpiece, just that it really doesn't sound like a song from the 60s.
Which album is that on?
Which album isn't it on?
Touche, Hobo... Touche.
Oops I mean flying, freudian slip. Sgt Peppers, third (?) song.
Magical Mystery Tour, but yeah I definitely agree. Just the way it's recorded sounds way ahead of its time. I wonder if that's just due to the absence of vocals (or at least lyrics) though, making it stand out from nearly all other Beatles tracks. It's the best piece of music to have on when riding a bus.
Wow yeah magical mystery tour, I really suck with names. I mean I even looked for the video and saw the album art and all that. [editline]12th May 2011[/editline] When I was figuring out in my mind where it was in the order on the album I went: "Magical mystery tour".... "fool on the hill"..... and then I think "flying", so it must be the third album! How did I then manage to get the album wrong [editline]12th May 2011[/editline] third song* fUCK!
Past Masters is TOO GOOD
Past Masters is TOO GOOD
it's Just a collection of the singles never released on albums, nothing special really
And the singles are amazing.
Love is an awesome album. Damn I love George Martin.
Make sure you get your hands on the Love versions of Fool on the Hill and Girl. They're also great.
My mind is being fucking blown right now [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] The music never rests! [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] How did it take me until now to realize we've owned a copy of this album since it was released?
And the singles are amazing.
That's one of the great aspects of Magical Mystery Tour. The inclusion of the singles of '67 really takes it from good to great. It's a shame though the way it turned out. Since they never released singles on albums since they didn't want to sell the same songs twice, you end up with situations like how Sgt. Pepper could have been so much better with the inclusion of Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Only A Northern song could have made it on pepper, too.
Make sure you get your hands on the Love versions of Fool on the Hill and Girl. They're also great.
Just bought them!
it's Just a collection of the singles never released on albums, nothing special really
I didn't say it was bad Makol, no need to get butthurt
You think he's butthurt because he rated you dumb? lol
I didn't say it was bad Makol, no need to get butthurt
Yes, I rated you a box because I'm butthurt. Don't be a ding dong sheesh.
My English teacher is obsessed with The Beatles. Her birthday is next week and she kept trying to secretly hint us to buy her Beatles memorabilia.
Love is an awesome album. Damn I love George Martin.
Phil Spector for lyf :pcgaming:
Did you hear that they took the original gates off of Strawberry Fields? They replaced them with very pricey replicas and moved the originals to an unknown storage location.
Yeah, I saw it on sign when I was there.
it's Just a collection of the singles never released on albums, nothing special really
hey the singles were awesome. That's why they're singles, they can stand on their own and all together in an album is a gift from the big man in the clouds.
