I saw the giant FREE DOWNLOAD button for iTunes 10 and for a second I thought it was for the album. That would have been awesome.
Someone buy me Anthology 3. Physical copies are best copies.
I need Anthology 2 and 3 and then I will be happy.
2 & 3 are grand.
Yes but it sounds like it's cracking but at the same time it doesn't sound wrong.
Its switching into his falsetto voice, you try it, pretty much anyone can.

Jesus Christ, only just heard this I'm not jumping on the Glee hate bandwagon - to be honest, their cover of Hello Goodbye wasn't bad (the Jonas Brothers version is among the worst covers I've heard). The problem is that there's just no feeling to it, it sounds like stock music or something. I'm all for different interpretations of songs, but it seems that nine times out of ten "different interpretation" just means "slow it down, minimal instrumentation". You see it all the time on shows like the X-Factor. This isn't a rant against these shows, I just noticed that so many covers do this.
ok I cannot fucking STAND I CANNOT STAND When they make a slower version of this song. Yeah it's a nice little "love" song, but godDAMN, the original was upbeat and happy, not this solemn bullshit. That's just me though. I hate it when fast songs are slowed down and slaughtered for the sake of sentimentality.

But didn't they do this in Across The Universe too?
Yeah. They did it to If I Fell and I Want to Hold Your Hand. Blackbird too. I'm semi-okay with the I Want To Hold Your Hand in AtU because it doesn't sound like it's being sung by someone in a church choir. But still though, it's pretty bad. I rarely listen to it. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] But the AtU versions of If I Fell and Blackbird make me want to die

I love Robin Williams' version of that song, it's amazing.
That was amazing.

It still has the same message, quite literally in fact. I like the ATU version of blackbird.
It was more the way she sang it that bothered me.
It was more the way she sang it that bothered me.
Well the church part was there mainly because [sp]the kid died[/sp].
A lot of their voices bugged me.

All I know is I really liked the ATU version of Blackbird. I hated their version of I Want to Hold Your Hand though.

Oh wow I was thinking of Let It Be. I need to get my brain right. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] Yeah I didn't like Blackbird either. :v:
Fucking great day. Found these: http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_0693.jpg I know there's more hiding somewhere in the dark corners of my attic. I must find them.
Holy shit, With the Beatles and White Album? You lucky bastard.
None of my parents nor grandparents listened to The Beatles, my grandparents liked classical music and my mother and father liked Pink Floyd, led zeppelin and zz top so I don't get any Beatles records from them, a lot of pink floyd and led zeppelin though. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] That is a nice bed you have there
Holy shit, With the Beatles and White Album? You lucky bastard.
There's quite a few original 45s (Twist and Shout, etc), as well as Revolver, Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road.
