Just ordered With The Beatles and A Hard Days Night LPs, yay me :neckbeard:
How did you like them other LPs?
How did you like them other LPs?
Duke was p good, some songs were quite meh and the only one I can still remember the tune of is Turn It On Again. Then Invisible Touch side A was like an orgasm to my ears that'd never stop 'til I died an eargasm related death, I fell asleep before I could listen to side B though
I just found out I own let it be on vinyl by capitol. I had no idea. [editline]10th June 2011[/editline] "I" as in my parents.

I've got With The Beatles and Sgt Pepper's vinyl, in Stereo as well. Though nothing to play them on, doh. Don't know which box my With The Beatles one is in, but my Sgt Pepper's was printed in 1967. Both in great shape too

Disappointed that you didn't like them more, the only reason I do is because the humour behind them is awesome. American Psycho. Other than that, I think you may require the "mature" Genesis stuff.
It's really John Lennon. HE NEVER DIED.
Looks like he found the same Fountain of Youth Ringo did.
Ringo stopped aging in his mid 40s.
What do you guys think of Tom Petty / and the Heartbreakers?
Anyone Heard of Rain, the Beatles tribute band? Are they any good?
Anyone Heard of Rain, the Beatles tribute band? Are they any good?
They're ok. I watched one of their concerts on TV and they were performing near me a while back but I never got a chance to go. They don't have as "Beatles-y" of a vibe as the Fab Four though.
Anyone Heard of Rain, the Beatles tribute band? Are they any good?
They're more visual than sound and appearance. Didn't like them very much
Ringo stopped aging in his mid 40s.
Ringo only got 1% of what the Beatles made (or so I heard), and it was still enough to buy everlasting youth
What do you guys think of Tom Petty / and the Heartbreakers?
Eh. They're ok, but I don't really like them. I don't like Tom's voice. It...it is a little odd, if that makes sense.
Ringo only got 1% of what the Beatles made (or so I heard), and it was still enough to buy everlasting youth
Uh.
'Only a Northern Song' came on in my WMP, then the Anthology version played afterwards. This has happened a couple of times before, and :iia:
Ringo only got 1% of what the Beatles made
What in the what did you say?
I heard that, given all the money the Beatles made, Ringo only earned about 1%. I also heard they split it perfectly equally but I've generally heard Ringo made the least amount more times than not
So the Beatles got 5% out of them Ringo got 1% and the taxman got 95%, I'd say that it's pretty evenly shared.
Ringo only got 1% of what the Beatles made (or so I heard), and it was still enough to buy everlasting youth
Ringo deserved all of it. He wrote Octopus's Garden, after all
Ringo deserved all of it. He wrote Octopus's Garden, after all
John deserves some too, you nancy.
All of them deserve all of it :frown:
Oh God. One of my friends let me put all of his Anthologies on my iTunes. Thank God I never went and bought it.
They all deserve it
50% to Ringo, 50% to Scotty Pippin.
how about 15% to Ringo 15% to John 15% to George 15% to Paul 13% to Brian 13% to George Martin 13% to Neil 1% to me [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] that is all of the 5% left after the taxman and record companies take their shares.
100% to the King.
Are there any overlooked Ringo work that needs to be visited? This for example?
