Yeah, but that's not the best way to show it. Music videos are poor most of the time. He bet to Lennon that his single would reach number 1, to perform with him in 1974 at Madison Square Garden (hence the title), which was to be Lennon's last performance. They were great friends.
Leaving for Vegas tomorrow. I'll report back with photos.
I disagree, sure live performances can have some real soul in them, but you are still seeing them performing when they are tired, sweaty, and not thinking straight. In a studio recording, the final product is exactly what they want you to hear, and the same goes for music videos (most of the time). I think they're both fine for different things.

I'm not much of a fan of music videos these days because they don't make you think, they deter you from creating your own reaction.
Alright gents, I need your opinions. Don't mind the watermarks. I'm posting them on another site too where theft is pretty rampant, so I'm just being cautious. I need you guys to help me decide which one to send in for the contest. Granted, none of them are amAZiNG~ because I'm not graphic artist, but I tried my best and had fun doing it.
Rate Tool if you like this one~

Rate Artistic if you like this one~

Rate Heart if you like this one~
Thanks guys. Even if I don't win the contest, I still had fun doing these, so it was worth a shot lol.
Rated tool because I helped on that one :v:
Hi I'm a watermark.
Hi you're a watermark.
I thought the middle one looked best but the image in the middle on the top where he is wearing a blue shirt looks like it's been resized wrong. But they all look great.
I've been told that I kinda look similar to Paul McCartney. Does anybody think these two look similar? This is Paul. This is me. Another for reference. What do you guys think?
I'd like to see a picture from when you are a bit older say 17-18, children are just too alike

Yoko doesn't help herself, does she?
Yoko Ono Threatens To Sue Over John Lennon Themed Pub Want ice with that court order? Yoko Ono is reported to be suing the owner of a bar that is dedicated to the memory of her late husband John Lennon. Mike Craig, from Dundee, Scotland, is reported to have been sent a legal letter accusing him of copyright infringement - after he claims he spent spending thousands of pounds on Beatles memorabilia decorating Lennon's Bar. UG plus: remove banner According to Jam Showbiz (via NME) the letter from Ono's lawyer has demanded he remove all the memorabilia and rename the bar within 14 days. "It's ridiculous", he said. "The pub's been called Lennon's for about five years, but the signs will be removed this week." Three years ago, it was reported Ono's legal team had sued Lennon Murphy over her name. It was later revealed her legal team had objected when she had applied to the US trademark office for exclusive musical performance rights for the name Lennon.
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/general_music_news/yoko_ono_threatens_to_sue_over_john_lennon_themed_pub.html
D: I can never open my restaurant now. This makes me sad.
D: I can never open my restaurant now. This makes me sad.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :(
we will have to appeal to yoko ono's better nature
Let's give her a lot of candy.

It's unfortunate, really. Some people who still think it was Yoko and only Yoko that broke the Beatles up just get more cannon fodder to use against her when she does stuff like this. But, she's always been very protecting over John's name and likeness.
I like Yoko, she's artful at heart.
I follow her on Twitter. She tweets some pretty interesting stuff. I like her ideals on life and how supportive she is of charity causes. But when it comes to stuff regarding John, she's like an angry bear who just got her cub taken away or something. That side of her is really unpleasant and doesn't work in her favor at all. I mean I could see it being reasonable for her to talk to that bar owner and ask him if he could maybe pay for some of the rights to it or something, but suing him? Especially when it'd been around for 5 years already? That's a little much. There were other things she could have done, but she chose the extreme route.
Well permission wasn't asked so I guess it makes sense.
But he isn't getting profit directly from John's name. It may draw more customers in, but it's not like he's making money solely off the fact it's based on John.
Well true, but I'm fairly sure any business owner who has no issue with copyrights for FIVE YEARS would assume that they're in the clear.
But he isn't getting profit directly from John's name. It may draw more customers in, but it's not like he's making money solely off the fact it's based on John.
So the bar isn't dedicated to Lennon? Or am I confused.
It is, but the people don't pay to be able to see the John Lennon things. Any person could walk in there and not order anything and see everything for free. They pay for the drinks and the food. The Lennon-esque decor is just a feature of the building, pretty much.
So the bar isn't dedicated to Lennon? Or am I confused.
It's "themed" in his likeness. It's still a bar, just called "Lennon's" and probably has some photos and other knick-knacks in the bar.

It's not if you had like a poster of him inside but to go all out.. it's clear that she may have some kind of case. She probably doesn't... but I haven't seen the bar yet.
